- N.B. We understand from a few customers that the Enfield factory in India, have shipped a number of 500 Classic models with a none standard stem nut. Our standard Enfield casing has an internal bore size of 34.40mm - the non-standard nut is slightly larger. If possible before ordering for these particular models, can you the measure the stem nut across the points of the nut - this is the diameter of the nut at its widest point. If needed we can then machine the casing to fit.
