Blue Buffalo Wilderness High Protein, Natural Adult Small Breed Dry Dog Food, Chicken 4.5-lb

Best formula for our 2yr old Pomeranian. His coat looks great and shiny and he eats his food without any issues. Unfortunately he took a hard hit from a truck in front of our house. He was able to make a full recovery within a week or so, I have to imagine that part of him being healthy and having strong bones has to do with his diet. I would definitely recommend this for small breed adult dogs.I tried a couple of foods when we got our little Pomeranian, but despite him being a food loving dog and having no issues eating it, some messed with his digestive system and others made his hair fall off.

I’ve been buying this dog food for years for my Yorkie who has terrible allergies. After spending over $5K in vet bills including dermatology, I was recommended this food by the dog groomer at Petsmart. We had tried countless brands of grain free foods but my dog wouldn’t eat them bc they lacked flavor. After trying this, my dog LOVED it. Prior to eating this food, she was almost entirely bald because she would bite her skin so much. She had countless skin infections, was on antibiotics and steroids a bunch of times and there was always a problem. Her eyes were so swollen! A month after her eating this food, she was back to my sweet fur baby and she was much more comfortable. She still scratches here and there but I’m 99% sure, it’s because she eats our food if we walk away from the table for .00005 seconds. Lol I’m thankful for this brand and thankful for Jax at Petsmart that recommended this brand.

My dog actually loves it

My dog enjoys this but will NOT eat the tiny little pellet looking pieces that are random in the mix. He will leave them all over the floor outside of the bowl...and they hurt when walking on them in are feet!! I wrote to the company to see if there was a similar mix without the LIFE BITS as they are called...but do not. Believe it or not, I now pick them out before putting the bowl down for the dog and it works for both of us. Really not a difficult task!! I'm disappointed the price on this autoship has just increased but it is convenient.

My two four legged fur babies are very spoiled. Somehow we started off feeding them table scraps and eventually we were preparing all of their meals. They no longer like dog food. Although they won’t eat bologna, canned dog food or treats , both of my dogs love Blue Wilderness! We supplement their meals with this and leave it out for them to graze on. Honestly I couldn’t be more impressed. Definitely worth the $ it will take my dogs over a month to eat the small bag. Try it, your dog will thank you!!

Recently switched from regular Blue Buffalo to this line of food after reading up on some of the best foods for French Bulldogs. Up to this point, my poor little Frenchie was suffering really terrible skin allergies, in the wrinkles/folds in her face. I was told by a few veterinarians, that this was environmental and not due to any food she was eating…… but after switching, I think they are wrong. Since switching, her skin has cleared up completely! I didn’t even put 2 +2 together until recently…… trying to figure out how and what is the reason that her skin has cleared…… but this is the only thing that I’ve changed!

My dog loves these small bites. Lasts her a while too, she’s 15 pounds. Easy for her to chew and they must be tasty because she cleans her bowl!

This is high quality dog food. Packed full of highly digestible protein. Grain free which lowers the amount of waste left in your back yard. Fewer days out in the yard with your pooper scooper and you will thank yourself for buying this. Switch to a high quality dog food and you will notice the difference in 1-2 weeks. We have the 11lb bag on Subscribe and Save for two small dogs and every 4-5 months we have enough left over by the next shipment that we have to get the 4lb bag so there's not too much dog food sitting in the bin and potentially going stale.
