Awesome lights that actually look better in person than on pictures. Feels solid and appears to be well made. Took me about 15 min to install each one (not hard wired)

I did not hard wire these lights. I specifically bought them because they could be used without hardwiring--I wanted the ability to change my mind as to location with minimal effort (i.e., filler and paint). I use these are reading lamps to flank my bed and they are wonderful. I bought Edison bulbs to go with them, but I imagine standard LEDs wouldn't look bad either--though the spiral set lights would look a bit more obvious, but I suppose it ultimately depends on your use and purpose for them. I installed them myself in about 10 minutes (for two) with little effort (i.e, measuring tape, pencil, level, drill). Look great. Work great. Good price.

Weight of glass pulls the arms down and makes the light look uneven. Overall, easy to fix with a small washer. Love the look and style and the PRICE is great!!

This lamp bends about an inch under its own weight. Ridiculously flimsy.

Overall, I like this lamp. My issue is with the mounting hardware and the weight balance. It is so unbalanced that I was afraid it would rip out from the wall, so I ended up undoing the entire thing, installing the back plate, then putting the lamp back together on the wall itself so it wouldn’t pull so much off the wall. The glass shade is quite heavy and makes it difficult to move the arm without pulling it off the wall if it isn’t installed perfectly flush to the wall. Now that I’ve pulled it apart and installed it, it works okay. It wasn’t expensive and I’m happy with the look. I got a cord cover to make it a bit more streamlined at my fiancé’s request and now we are pretty happy with it. It’s a nice addition to our reading nook!

Bought this to use for ambiance and as a light to keep the hallway dimply lit at night. Paired it with a nice Edison bulb and made sure the bulb was dimmable so that I could take advantage of the dimming feature on this Globe Electric item, the page reads "FULLY DIMMABLE" in all caps as one of the main bullet points. Alas, this was more than a bit misleading. Despite having its own nob which turns the light on and off, there is no dimming of any kind. Apparently, you need to purchased a compatible dimmer switch and hard wire the light in order to take advantage of this feature. I'd say this is not "FULLY DIMMABLE" at all. And the main reason I got this was so that I could use it as a plug-in without having to wire into my electric. That said, I bought a 40 watt bulb so the light is not overpowering without need for any dimming action whatsoever. All in all, I rated it 4 stars for the convenience and the fact that it is the perfect brightness level for my purpose. I just can't give it 5 due to the "FULLY DIMMABLE" let down.

This is a really nice light when you take it out of the package, made pretty decent, the finish was nice, the glass globe was really nice. Out of the box, it looked really good. Then the install....I bought two of these to hardwire over a fireplace. I read the horrible reviews about hanging these without hard wiring, the lights sag. and lean downward due to the weight of the nice glass globe. So I thought hard wiring was the way to go. The Hardwiring hardware is as bad as the regular hardware, there is no center (nut or Hub) to tighten the fixture to the wall, and snug it to the wall, the hardware is shotty and has two small little screws to hold the fixture to the Hardwire mount, which is way too cheesy, thus...the light sags downward about 1-2 inches, useless. Both of these are going back, terrible purchase

Worth the money. It isn't great metal but if you're careful and don't scratch it during the installation it will look great and work fine. The instructions aren't great but it's fairly intuitive. I planned on using the cord. I recommend laying out the position by taking off the back plate and lining things up and drilling pilot holes, then screwing the plate in place and reinstalling the lamp over the plate. The holes lined up well. It took me a few seconds to find the nut that holds the shade in place but I did and the install was quickly finished. I bought a 40w replacement bulb in vintage style LED that was rated at 400 lumens. The 60w replacement bulb was rated at 350 lumens. Go figure. The fixture would do well with either. A 60w incandescent would be almost too bright. This is an economic fixture that has a good return on investment.

This item is a fair price as I have seen everywhere else be EXTREMELY high. For what it is, it operates great. Very bright, pleased with it being used directly plugged in however looks extremely challenging to hardware it into the dry wall... so I have yet to try it. The bulb is very sleek looking and expensive to replace ... the mobility of the fixture arm comes out about an inch ( so pretty short) wonderful for reading

Es una lámpara muy bonita, la coloqué en el baño como luz de vanidad pues le puse un foco de 3000 kelvins, con la finalidad de crear un ambiente íntimo.Como se puede observar la lámpara posee un brazo giratorio PERO y es un gran pero, el brazo no se nota lo suficientemente resistente para estarlo manipulando y cambiando de posición, entonces no da mucha seguridad hacerlo, puesto que el material se ve endeble y poco resistente, entonces pierde el propósito de que tenga un brazo con movimiento pues en verdad sientes que se puede romper.

I bought two of these to use as headboard sconces. I looked all over for plug in lamps with the switch ON the base instead of the cord. It was easy to install, I opened up the back, pulled the cord through the hole at the bottom of the base and ran it behind my headboard.The glass shade might be a tad too heavy for the arm, but the arm is also pretty stiff, wouldn’t recommend moving it a lot. We positioned it and have tried not to adjust much. You can kind of see the bend/drop in the arm due to weight.Other than that, great price, good quality and happy with the purchase. It’s super cute with the Edison bulbs too!

Me gusta mucho el estilo y los colores de los materiales. Yo lo instalé donde ya tenía un foco. No utilicé el cable con clavija que viene con la lámpara. Veo que queda un poco colgado a caído cuando está el brazo extendido. La chapa del soporte es algo delgada y por eso se cuelga el foco un poco. He tenido que calzar la chapa circular en la parte de abajo para compensar esa caída y lograr que se vea el brazo horizontal.

Love this lamp! It was easy to install and solved the "there are no lights in the room" problem in my new house. Like that you have an option for plugging directly into an outlet making it easy for the average person to install without needing electrical skills.I have seen the same lamp selling for $30 more at a hardware store.
