The AML Triton picks up where the legacy model M7220 leaves off. Like its predecessor, the Triton is a rugged yet cost effective handheld terminal that can be quickly deployed with minimal configuration time and little to no training. However, the Triton can also be put to work in light-duty applications where Terminal Emulation is utilized. The keypad is now protected with clear epoxy domed tops making them impervious to any kind of abrasive wear that might rub them off or obscure them in any way. With a 55-key keypad with full alphanumeric content, keying error should be kept to a minimum. The AML Triton is designed for wireless terminal emulation applications in warehousing, distribution, and other harsh environments.

Great for telnet applications
We have several of these we use with our telnet ERP application... The interface is simple and can be easily locked down to prevent tampering with settings. They are Linux based and boot much faster than the Windows based scanguns. The battery life is incredible because it is such a simple piece of hardware. The wireless works really well too and is much better than any Windows Mobile/CE scangun I have ever seen. Also, they are made in the USA! I highly recommend for simple terminal based applications.

Nice scanner, but NO charger included.
The scanner itself is probably fine. I have not had a chance to put it through its paces, but I am VERY disappointed that the charger was not included. It would have been nice if that had been made clear so that I could have ordered the charger.
