Capezio Women's Studio Shoes Dance Sneaker

Good for line dancing
I followed the recommendations from others and ordered a full size larger, however, a half size would have been plenty. I had fallen a couple of times when my regular sneakers stuck to the floor during some turns and spins. These have a sweet spot on the ball of the foot that eases the turns and makes them flow much smoother. This is my first pair of shoes specifically for dancing, and while I was reluctant to spend money on shoes for this purpose, I am glad I did. I enjoy the experience more and am less tired by the end of the two plus hours.

Good and comfy
I checked off that these fit as expected, but maybe that's misleading. I expected these to run small, and they do. I wear a 13 and ordered a half size up. They felt just the tiniest bit snug but I took a chance and wore them to a dance class and they were fine. I had read another review that said they will stretch and it makes sense if you think about the fact that there is a split sole. So as long as they don't keep stretching they'll be perfect. They are so much more comfortable compared to regular sneakers, too; I felt a big difference in how my knees and hips felt after an hour of dancing. I'm really pleased that these come in a good range of larger sizes. And they don't look as bad in a large size as I had feared. All in all, I'm a fan.

NICE SHOES!
NICE SHOES!!!! It is the first time in my life that I buy shoes just to dance. I am so happy I did! Even though I only used them once, I lost track of time. I danced almost for 3 hours! No pain, at all. They are so comfortable!!! And true to size. I am a 7.5 US in my Nike Sneakers and I ordered a 7.5 as suggested by some other ladies and the page itself. It is perfect!!!

Plus size with knee issues
I started taking Zumba a couple of months ago and was wearing my cross-training shoes to class. I started to develop knee pain immediately after each class. Several friends mentioned to me to buy a shoe that allows lateral movements. I finally found these shoes on Amazon for a great price because all of the other websites were too expensive. I was blown away with these shoes! I normally have a difficult time finding shoes for my 11 W foot, but when I read the reviews and ordered a size larger, 12, they fit perfectly. I wore these shoes to class for the very first time last Friday and immediately my knee pain disappeared. It was amazing! They are light-weight and provide great support for my weight. I am now able to perform all of the moves with ease and precision. You will not be disappointed. I plan on purchasing another pair.

Didn't work for me :(
After spending 30 minutes trying to lace up these shoes (seriously, you will see why they don't take the time to lace them at the factory!) I was excited to try them on as they looked very nice. For me, these shoes were incredibly uncomfortable and shifted my weight back onto my heels. I thought perhaps this might be a good thing but after wearing them around the house for less than 5 minutes I decided that, unfortunately, I could not use them for Zumba class, which is what I purchased them for.

Perfect for dance class
I normally wear size 11 women's, though my foot is more of a 10.5. I decided to take my chances with an 11.5. The fit is perfect for me. I have been using them for the last 3 weeks in my Irish dance class, and I haven't had any problems at all. I know some people have questioned the name and whether their knockoffs or not. My daughter happens to have a pair of Capezio's that were bought directly from the company last year, and they are an exact match. I would definitely buy again.

Totally satisfied Prime member
I was familiar with this shoe, since I bought my first pair at the local dancewear store. I paid $60, and since the Amazon price is so much lower and I am a Prime member (highly recommend that, too) there was no shipping charge. It is the exact same shoe, and as I do zumba 4 times a week and use this shoe exclusively for that they will no doubt last the 3 years the first pair did. If you are doing any sort of turns or spinning in your usage, this is the shoe for you. It has pivot points on both the sole and heel for turns that will not strain your knees. I am totally thrilled every time I find something on Amazon Prime that I have been paying too much for. The free shipping has more than covered the annual fee half way thru the year.

I have had surgery on my right foot and have difficulty finding comfortable shoes.
I use them for my Zumba class. I don't wear them all the time and find them difficult to drive my car, so just wear them for class. I wear them with a short sock and they work for me. They would be a little to wide and long without the sock on. I have had surgery on my right foot and have difficulty finding comfortable shoes.

Perfect but watch the size!
This is a perfect Ballet Tutoring trainer. One has to be careful when ordering the size, though. I am a UK 4.5 to 5.0 size walking shoe. I needed a US size 7 to 7.5 in this Dance Trainer, equivalent to a UK size 6.

Lovely and light. Did need to change for one size up. Speedy exchange.. no issues.

Stiff and uncomfortable
I bought these because I thought they would be easy to move in. They are not comfortable.

Sizing Problem
I have been wearing a Capezio dance sneaker (different model) for Zumba and simply love it. So when that pair of shoe got worn out, I sought to buy another. I knew about Capezio's sizing being smaller and was wearing a size bigger than my usual size and it fitted fine. I ordered the same size with the current order (Rockit) but unfortunately it was a bit tight. But I persevere thinking that it will loosen but I have given up after about 10 times. The problem was with the shoe being a bit narrow and I have a slightly wider foot and it edges towards a C width which buying a size bigger seemed to fit well in my previous dance sneaker. It turned out to be very painful halfway through my Zumba sessions and I suffered from bruised/compressed toes. Furthermore, compared to the previous dance sneaker, this shoe's soles are harder and do not absorb shock as well. I am very disappointed.
