Rise Unstoppable (Rising Uplifting Poetry)

This book is a great read for inner change and over coming challenges

This is the second book of poetry I read from this author (Michelle Stradford) from the "I'm Rising" Series. The first one was amazing, and this book, Rise Unstoppable, was even better!! I love her zeal and was so inspired that I shared some of her poems with my kids (yes even my boys). One poem was so vivid it kept jumping off the pages. I found myself rereading it over and over. finally I copied it on a yellow stickie note and posted it on my fridge!!! I recommend this book for anyone dealing with oppression and struggles with self worth. very uplifting indeed!!!!

This book of self-love poems and self-care affirmations has gotten me through some of the toughest days in my life. Even if I only get in one or two pages a day it sets me straight and helps realign my thinking so I can face anything!

When I signed on to read a book of poetry, it was with the intention of expanding my horizons a little. Well, that happened all right!But I find it hard to put into words what I felt as I read. I do know, I will find myself going back to some of these to explore further the feelings they evoked. I'm hopeful, that the poet was looking for just this reaction.A worthwhile adventure to begin, I feel as if I'm not really done with this one yet.[I was fortunate that through BookSirens and the author, I received an ARC of the book, with no obligation to review. Rise is an incredible collection of poetry. The author has an amazing gift of eloquent words and phrases that bring amazing emotions to all her pieces. I have thoroughly enjoyed this book and have bought several copies for friends.I highly recommend this read for those that need an internal boost and shouts of positivity!

The media could not be loaded.  “Never stop the work.” is a piece of one of my favorite poems in this book entitled “Never Stop.” If you’re looking for some inspiration in the form of beautiful poetry, this book is for you. The second favorite is “Replace Lies,” which reminds us all to remember our self-worth. All in all, I highly recommend it!

Rise Unstoppable is magnificent. This book places you in an unpredictable, sometimes unimaginable and always spirited form of realization, making you meticulous about life, forcing you to reach deep into the depths of your soul. If you must, read, memorize, and use the author's words if it will help you follow your inner compass.

Once again Michelle Stradford shares her fierce, achingly beautiful words to help get us all through these unprecedented times. Her poetry is intensely personal, yet universal and life-affirming. Pour yourself a glass of something, back away from social media, and treat yourself to some soul-replenishing. Then, rise.
