ScentsationalCandles, Premium Soy (Man Candle) Dauntless, Black

Coming out of the box the candle smelled great, but lit there is almost no smell, even when sitting within 4 feet of it. It also seems to put out an unusually large amount of smoke compared to other candles I have that are in the same price range.

I had high hopes for this one but there is nothing great here. The scent is masculine and clean but not anything unique. The scent is not strong at all and I honestly could only smell it when I was right up on it. My girlfriend only thought it had a slightly burnt smell. The candle does last long, so that's one positive thing. Overall, it's not terrible but you won't miss anything by passing this one by.

I have bought these candles in the past & love the scent as well as the high intensity of fragrance. However, I was very disappointed with the shipment I just received. I allowed the candle to burn at least an hour & there was absolutely no smell! The candle itself barely had a scent before burning. I’m not sure if these are old & have lost their potency sitting around somewhere, but they are definitely “fragrance free”. I wouldn’t be any worse off had I just burned twenty dollar bills.

I dont want my place to stink, but I also dont want it smell like a bath and body works show room. Im a man, and I want my pad to smell like a man lives in it. Enter Dauntless. People walk in, and have no doubt what gender presides over over this castle.

I was so impressed with the Intrepid candle that I decided to try the Dauntless. I like the looks of the candle itself, it burns evenly and gives off plenty of scent. I’m not impressed with the scent. I mostly smell fir with a bit of perfume. I’ll probably save it for Christmas.

Honestly I’m a bit underwhelmed with this candle. While the candle does smell nice, you can’t really smell it after multiple burns. In the initial burns, the scent would dissipate within just a few moments.

Smells really nice and burns evenly. I'll probably buy another when this one is out.

Even after burning for 2 hours in a medium sized room, the smell wasn't overpowering
