Love it!
I bought the 8oz and I love this odorless mononer. It has such a faint odor that doesn't linger at all. It's slow setting so it's perfect for acrylic nail beginners. Even if I mess up a bead I can always fix it by just tapping my brush on the bead releasing liquid to maneuver the acrylic just the way i like. Im interested in the 16oz bottle and the acrylic powder now being impressed by the liquid.

Stinks and yellows.
First of all I want everyone to know, I am not in the habit of writing bad reviews but this product is a no return item and I want people to know not to waste their money. So I have some regular degular monomer that smells like,, well, monomer but I got a big complaint on the smell from my grumpier half. I’m new to doing nails ( it’s just a hobby and I’m still bad at it). When I saw there was such a thing as “odourless monomer” I was delighted. There may be such a thing but this ain’t it. I was alone in the house when I poured some into my dapper dish and sis, let me tell you, I would rather smell regular monomer than this,, this,, blech any day. So anyways, I had some nails I had been practicing on and thought they may be ok with an encapsulated layer. They had white gel polish (cured a week earlier) and some water decals, covered with a topcoat. I buffed out the nails and figured if nothing else, I could practice my bead work.Whelp. Along with the stench came a pretty easy application. I’ve only ever done one nail (One Nail) with acrylic before so don’t be too judgy at my pics. So, they didn’t want to set. I thought maybe it was because of the gel underneath so I popped them under my uv/led lamp for 60 seconds. And another 60, then another. I gave up and left them for a couple of hours, fed my dogs, fed Mr Grumpy.I mean, what is this even?? I did an encapsulation on that One Nail and it worked a dream. This, this is not even yellow. It’s brown. I took my e-file (yes I’ve just started, yes I go heavy into any hobby) and pared down one of the nails just because this is so bad, I was worried people might thing I was exaggerating. Anyways, after calling customer service, after being a Prime customer for about 10 years, they Did give me a refund (thank you A) but it’s not a guarantee. So I guess acrylics will be a cooler weather, outdoor thing but I wouldn’t even use this stuff outside. Save your doll hairs.

It Works, It cures slowly.
This is not truly odorless. In fact, I hate the smell of it. However, nobody else in my house hates it because they haven’t had to smell it. I always wind up with a headache when I use regular monomer. Not because of the chemicals, but because of the complaints. This monomer solves that. Low odor monomer does not work exactly the same as regular monomer and has some things you need to understand. It cures slowly. The slower evaporation that helps it be less smelly, means that your nails will cure more slowly. This monomer will not cure faster under a UV light. You can add acetone to help speed up the process, but then you are also putting your brush in acetone. That decision is yours. Since brushes are expensive, I do not add acetone. You also need very little of this product to do the same job as regular monomer. I mean way way way less. Look for some videos on YT to see how little you need. Finally, I have not gotten this to work without leaving a yellow cast. I have been told by other techs that I am using too much liquid and if I use less, I won’t have the yellow cast. I have not gotten there. I just use this to practice at home so I go into it expecting the yellow cast and plan accordingly. Once your nail is dry, it will have a sticky layer on it. That is the nature of low odor monomers. Just use a file or sanding band to file it off then I get out my good bits to shape.Watching videos is going to make a big difference in your satisfaction with this product. For me the biggest drawbacks are the smell and the yellow cast.

Its sticky to use
It was low odor but it has an odd smell. That would be ok because it is a chemical and I am mixing stuff to get a reaction. The problem was it makes everything sticky. It messed up my favorite brush and I had to throw it away. It messed up the sanding blocks very quickly and had to keep replacing them. It was a nightmare. I threw the bottle out.Amazon won't let you return it so this is a stupid item and stupid policy.

Sets very fast compared to other odorless mononers available. Be ready to sculpt that smile line on your forms!! No alcohol to speed up drying times.

The media could not be loaded. I have been working with this monomer for a long time I a still work with it at first is hard to get the perfect beats but ones you get it is so much better it gives you time to place the beats where you want them to be
