Worked perfectly!
Not the most comfortable shoe in the world. But that is not what it is for. I got it for my class A inspection and it performed flawlessly. Fits me correctly and what's the perfect shine that I was looking for for my police inspection.

Great Shoe
Ordered these last minute for funeral. Officers wore their Class A uniform but the service and we had failed to purchase new shoes after my husbands old pair got ruined. They shipped fast and fit great according to my husband. He purchased based off the size chart. They came with perfect shine and allow my husband to pay his respects to a truly amazing individual.

Poor tongue.
The shoes are hard and firm to walk in and will require time to get them usable for more than a few hours. The tongue is the worst ever. There is almost zero way to insert feet into these shoes without holding the tongue at the same time. The tongue slides down and fold with so little pressure and the cloth on the back of the tongue latches into any dress sock. My solution was to sew one side of the tongue to one side of the shoe. Still not perfect but at least I can grab the tongue and pull up rather than trying to greatly lossen every eye to get to a sunk tongue and then pull pull pull hard.

Good buy on the fly!
These shoes are easier to apply kiwi and maintain a jet black appearance without accidental application onto the remainder of the shoe. The sole is a little thicker and comfortable so the shoe lasts a bit longer. I served within the military Honor Guard for 11 years. Bates are decent but they are always pricey and the sole is not as thick. I have to replace shoes every year (shorter time span if scuffed) to maintain a professional appearance so with replacing medals and other accessories, it can add up quickly. This was a good buy indeed.
