Q: Has anyone found their baby has slid to the edge as not level? A lot of other products similar have and I don’t want to buy if anyone has.

It is level. It can be tilted, my daughter has used it like this, no problem even when baby was tiny.

Q: Can you get this without the light/music piece? Seems unnecessary in an age of eco-consuming.

Don't think so but will say my daughter's baby loves the extras!
