It IS very sweet. It is too sweet to use as jam on toast, although it is good in yogurt. Also I had the feeling that the top to the jar did not fit as I would expect from a product sold commercially.

I love the taste of Buckthorn jam. This one is too sweet for me... actually so sweet that can not taste the berries.Love it that it is in glass jar and actually with no preservatives and you can see bakthorn is in there:)

Hello, I will not be ordering this again. It wasn't what I had expected it to be. I was kind of like a jam or jelly I guess. It didn't taste bad but it had a lot of stems in it and I didn't enjoy picking them out. If it were not for the stems I would have taken it by spoon 2time a day. I did get the oil that they sell and I just pour it in my juice. It was ok.

Was completely destroyed when I got it. The glass was sticking out through the bubble wrap - that bad! I got injured by accidentally picking it up. I got a full refund and ordered it again, because it smelled nice, like a real Russian preserve. Will give it one more try!
