Thoroughly impressed
I recently purchased the food jar for my child's lunch, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The design is a big hit with my child. The Batman logo adds a fun and exciting touch, making lunchtime more enjoyable. The size is perfect for a child's meal, providing just the right amount of food without being too bulky or heavy. The vacuum insulation works incredibly well, keeping food hot or cold for hours. I love that I can pack a warm meal for my child in the morning, and it will still be the perfect temperature by lunchtime. This feature is especially useful during the colder months when my child enjoys a comforting hot meal. The stainless steel construction is easy to clean. I can simply rinse it out or toss it in the dishwasher for effortless cleaning. The jar is also leak-proof, so I can pack soups, stews, and porridge without worrying about spills in my child's lunch bag.Highly recommend the jar. It's a practical, fun, and reliable choice for any parent looking to pack a nutritious and exciting lunch for my kid.

Really good for kids lunches
Holds more than you think, works well to keep things warm or cool, and just does a really good job with kids lunches. If they (or you) are getting sick of sandwiches - put beans and weenies, mac and cheese, a can of soup, spaghetti, last nights leftovers, or whatever in the microwave, then slide them warm into the thermos and give your kids a spoon / fork / whatever in their lunch box with it. Really like them, got extras because I thought we'd only use them once in a while and it turned out we needed them more often. The stainless steel interior cleans pretty well and it's not hard to get down in there with a sponge or brush, but while I understand why they designed it as they did - it would be nicer with a straight wall all the way up instead of coming in for the lid (giving it a little bit of a lip that's harder to clean under - though even that area isn't hard to get at and at least they kept it curved / easy to wipe!)Basically - good size, good design, works well. We've had no leaks or issues with that either and my kids are not gentle on things.

Perfect for Kindergarten Lunch!
I purchased two of these for my daughter who started kindergarten this year, wanting to give her a periodic warm alternative to cold sandwiches...and we love it!When I first received it, I wanted to see exactly how long it would keep food warm, so I filled it with boiling water, took the temperature, and screwed the lid on, leaving it sitting on the counter for ~4 hours. After four hours I checked the temperature, which had dropped from 200F to 135F...still plenty warm for eating! The longer I’ve had these, the more types of food I’ve realized they can be used for! Several examples;-Spaghetti-Mac and cheese-Mashed potatoes-Rice and beans-Soup-Mini corn dogs (the frozen kind)-Chicken nuggets-French toast sticks-Scrambled eggs- And more! The possibilities really are endless! To make the heat last as long as possible, I fill the thermos with hot water while I’m preparing the food. You can boil the water before pouring it in, but I’ve found that running a cup of plain hot water from the Keurig directly into it is faster and easier and works just as well in my experience! When the food is ready, I dump the water out, put the food in, cap it tightly, and toss it into the lunchbox. For the ‘dry’ foods such as chicken nuggets, corn dogs, etc, I dump the water out of the thermos, dry with a paper towel, and place a new, dry paper towel in the bottom of the thermos before putting the food in, to absorb any excess moisture.I have had zero problems with either of my thermoses in the few months we have used them, and would 100 % buy these again!

Works well as storage, but not as a drinking cup.
Yes, there are a ton of thermoses to choose from, and because I’m not very picky, I went with the cheapest. It just so happened that the cheapest one at the time I purchased it was Batman, at $13.94. Unlike the majority of people who seem to get this product, I did not get it for my child to take to lunch, but rather for the intention of bringing it on camping trips to keep coffee or soup warm for a few hours. I also tried it out a few times in the cold, just to test out its ability for both temperatures. I will say, however, that I did not test it out at its maximum capacity because I didn’t need to.PROS:-Can keep food/drinks cold or hot for an extended period of time.-Comes in many different themes.-Works well on a camping trip. It kept my soup warm for several hours, and also kept my coffee warm the next day for about 5 hours. (Yes it had cooled down a little, but it was still warm after 5 hours.)-Lightweight, stainless steel construction.-The seal works perfectly and nothing leaked out, even when it got jostled and dropped.CONS:-This very clearly made for only storage. I wanted to use it a few times to drink out of directly and while this was possible, sometimes the liquid dripped down or got caught in the grooves. In other words, there’s no drinking spout, and you’ll probably drip on yourself if you try to drink from it.-It’s a very odd size, at 10 oz. I’ll have to check if that’s 10 liquid ounces or 10 solid ounces, because I wasn’t able to get a full cup of coffee when I tried to put it in there.

Easy to use for preschoolers
I use several of these to keep my two preschool-age children fruit snacks fresh. They take them to school and they are easy to open. The spoon compartment is very useful. In terms of keeping the fruit fresh as long as you dry the excess water from when you wash them they keep very well in this container and it guarantees that my kids will eat them.

Great for School Lunches
I have several Thermos funtainers with various designs, this being one of them, for my daughter’s KD and soups in school lunches.Depending on the food you’re putting inside and the temperature your child prefers, you can do one of two things. As I make her KD, I put hot water into the Thermos to ensure the insulated lining is warm. It’ll keep the food hot for longer. For soups, she complains it’s too warm for her when I do this so I simply bring her soup to a boil and put it right in without pre-warming the Thermos. Her lunch is scheduled for 11:45-12:00. I haven’t received any complaints from her, but she prefers warm versus hot food. Also, the design doesn’t wear quickly. I have one from two years ago that is only now beginning to peel on the outside.
