NFL Pittsburgh Steelers Terrible Towel

It's ok as far as how it looks but it doesn't seem like it's officially licensed. I bought one before from fanatics dot com and it is officially licensed. The tag was different and the material was different. The material that thisis made from is very thin and has runs in it. I am seriously wanting to send this back.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my partners birthday. He and I are both die hard steelers fans and he had been wanting a terrible towel for years. This towel was made VERY WELL! I loved the superbowl years won printed on it. The price was great and the towel size is big and exactly what I had imagined. About the size of a hand towel maybe even a smidge bigger.

I ordered this item for my roommate for Christmas this year. We had been sitting around watching football earlier in the season (she is an avid Steelers fan and I am a diehard Packers fan) During a wide shot of the crowd waving their Terrible Towels around she said "Man, I wish I had a Terrible Towel!!" I got on my phone, got on my Amazon app and ordered it immediately. I saw somebody else had submitted a comment about being disappointed that it wasn't very thick or couldn't be used as an actual towel. I thought this was funny, because it's not really meant to be more than a towel to dry your hands from a cold beer and wave around in the air yelling fanatically at your tv. If I could rate it more than 5 stars, I would. purely for the look on her face when she opened it and immediately began yelling happily and waving it in the air. (Ironically, the next day after we did our gift exchange, the Packers played the Steelers, and they beat us >.< LoL) It is indeed a Terrible Towel, perfectly suitable for it's use and a great deal for the price. And, a portion of the proceeds go to a really good charity. It was an all around winning situation. It’s a terrible towel, how does not get five stars? I bought two to wrap my newborn twin boys in at the hospital. Will always recommend!

I bought this because my husband is a Steelers fan and when your baby is born in Pittsburgh hospitals they wrap the newborns in terrible towels. So this one is for our little newborn to be wrapped in when they arrive. We had to buy our own since we aren't lucky enough to live in Pittsburgh. Plus, now the baby will have it's own towel to wave while we watch games.

These claim to be official, and come from Steelers Wholesale, but they're clearly not official. They have all the tags stitched in saying official gear, but the size alone says otherwise. This towel is closer to the size of a small bath towel than a real terrible towel, which i have several of. The approximate dimensions are supposed to be 25x15, but my towel was about 32x 24. In the end it serves its purpose and was relatively cheap, for the fact that it so adamantly claims "authentic" everywhere, it should only get 2 stars. But because the transaction and shipping was so fast and again, reasonably priced, i'll give it 3 stars.

I surprised my husband with game tickets this year and of course you need a towel to swing while you are at the game. This is a great buy . Just as described.
