As years go by technology changes. I remember when the first digital scale came out and now there is a scale that gives and estimate of a variety of things and is able to be linked to your smart phone or tablet via Bluetooth. As we get older or even to keep ourselves healthy, we need to keep track of all the things we can. I always wondered how these scales worked and finally I came across this one and was able to purchase this at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I am so happy that I did!The best part b of this scale b is that you can view and keep records of your weight, bone mass, fat etc. Which is awesome because you can lie or cheat lol. However, if you are pregnant or have a pace maker do not use these scales. In the instructions of this scale it mentions that which I thought was good to keep everyone informed and safe. There is a download able app from either Google play store or apple. There are about 4 different types of versions of the iWellness, 2.0, 4.0 app but I would stick to he original iWellness.I would definitely recommend this scale to anyone that's looking for a digital scale that links to your smart phone or tablet. Staying healthy and keeping yourself healthy is very important!

This is a good looking scale that takes consistent and accurate measurements. I really like the size of the scale, I wear size 15 men's shoes and my feet fit on the scale without overhanging on the edges. The scale syncs with the app quickly and takes measurements quickly. Once set it up on my iPhone I simply open the app, stand on the scale and within seconds my measurements are uploaded to my phone. My wife has also been using the scale and there are no issues with it updating to the wrong phone. The backlit LED screen on the scale is easy to read while standing on the scale. The screen only gives you your weight, other measurements can be viewed in the app. The app also records your measurements and can be viewed in the list or line graph fomat. It automatically updates to Apple's health app included with your iPhone. I wear a jawbone fitness band and use their app which also syncs with Apple Health but iWelness does not communicate with UP. Outside of this issue, having to open the app to get the scale to record my readings, and the bland/simplistic design/interface of the iWelkness app, I can't complain.I'm not sure how this scale compares in performance to other brands that are less expensive as this is the only smart scale I have used. Great scale! The weight is right on with my other bathroom scale. The app is easy to install and easy to use. I can now keep track of my BMI, and my wife can keep track of hers on the same scale. It looks nice and I love how big the display is. If you do not have the app, it will simply act as a scale, so be sure to get the app and use this scale to its full potential! It tells you your body fat percentage, BMI, water weight percentage, bone weight percentage, and muscle mass percentage. You can also keep the info so as to compare to readings later on and it will graph them for you on a trend-line so that you can look at your progress. Great scale! This scale is very sleek looking and makes a great addition to my bathroom...very decorative looking. I had some issues getting it to come on in the beginning, but I reinserted the batteries and it came on fine. The app was easy to load and connect to the scale. The functions of the scale are amazing! It will definitely be an informative tool in my weight loss journey.
