I drink a lot of coffee.
I drink a lot of coffee and have had many many Keurigs over the last decade or so. I currently have this one in pink at work- I work onsite once a week, so it only gets used on Sundays and has been holding up well for 3 months. I also have the Keurig K-Express Essentials Single Serve at home and use that one regularly. I prefer the express single serve over the mini single serve and it also the cheaper option out of the two! Although I love the sleekness of the mini and the pink color- I have a difficult time actually figuring out the rhyme or reason on how to get it to brew a cup of coffee. Sometimes I find after I put water in, it will make a bubbling noise and if I push the button, it will brew (eventually). Sometimes not. Sometimes there is no bubbling/warming up noise after filling it with water and I will push the brew button anyway- sometimes I get coffee, sometimes I don’t and have to press it again. I am sure it covers the steps to successfully brew a cup of coffee in the manual, but as much coffee and keurigs I go through, I feel that it should be common sense and never read the instructions. Even when a cup of coffee is brewed, it takes a long time for it to start brewing. I manage a farmers market and the keurig is in my office/storage room at the market, so I always brew a cup and step away for a minute to check on the market. Since it takes so long to brew, I don’t get any indication if it is brewing or not before needing to step away. The express brews immediately after selecting the size of cup you want brewed and it always brews, so there is no mystery behind the functioning of that Keurig (and I did not read the manual on this one either). The express also has the option between 3 different sizes, which for me doesn’t matter- I always choose the biggest brew size (10 oz) anyway- so it ends up being the same size of cup brewed as the mini. But for people who do want the option of coffee oz, it’s another reason to prefer the express. To sum it up- when my next coffee maker breaks (I am rough on them) and the store is out of the express and only had the mini, I will buy the mini again. Or if the mini comes out with a new color I LOVE and I can’t get the express in that color, I may consider the mini (I am a sucker for looks over function-ability sometimes) But when given the option between the express and mini- I much prefer the express, which is also the cheaper option of the two!

Love it, but...
I love the coffee maker, but you might want to reconsider using USPS as the delivery service. They showed up when no one was at the delivery site, but they didn't leave any kind of notice. The excuse was, 'Well, some of the notices got mixed up, so some people didn't get them." They would have been returning the item that same day! This was absolutely NOT the fault of the vendor -- just a little advice!

Don’t Make My Mistake: Wrong Mini Model; Still Cute
I got confused (and probably too greedy, thinking I was saving a buck): there is the MINI and there is the MINI PLUS. I thought I was getting the feature of the PLUS mini. I wanted the removable water bin and the ability to push an extra button for the stronger brew. This model does NOT have those options. Life is too short so I kept my booboo. I’ve only had one cup and it didn’t really make better coffee than my old single-serve non-Keurig. I DO LIKE that you pick the mug you want to use, fill it with the amount of water you desire, dump that water in the bin, put your mug on the pad and start your brew. It did use all the water I poured in which is great. I had to turn my old maker upside down to dump out the excess water.I got the cute red model and it does have a slim “footprint” on my counter. It’s also nice that the extra cord is hidden inside the housing, not on the counter, and that it turns itself off. Also, the plug is trim and doesn’t set off my GFI by hitting it, as my old model (non-Keurig) did.

Perfect for traveling
This Keurig is the perfect size for me when I travel. I throw it in one of my suitcases or backpack and take it with me as I travel around for work. It’s very convenient. I love it!

My guys loved this!
I bought this for my son to take to the farm for hunting season. The guys used it as soon as I gave it to them! He said it worked great! It was easy to use and quiet so does not disturb others that are sleeping.NOTE TO AMAZON: I buy many items for Christmas starting in August as I am unable to shop in the stores due to an illness. It would be great if you would give customers an option to say it is a Christmas gift, thus extending the time that refunds or exchanges can be made. Unfortunately, I often buy a gift for Christmas that is not able to be exchanged due to your acceptable return date policy! Please think about this!
