Excellent alternative for those that can not do laces.
These are a godsend for us. My pre-teen struggles with laces and as he gets older buying shoes suitable for school with velcro is not an option. These elastic laces, with magnetic clasps really do the job, for both his smart school shoes and his trainers for PE and home wear. I highly recommend them to all my SENd parent friends. Not only do they do the job, they look smart and they last really well, definitely outlasted his shoes at the rate he is growing 😁.

Good idea but do keep coming open
These are great in thinking , but the magnet on one is not very strong and comes open a lot.

Look good too!
My daughter struggles with the amount of time it takes to do up her shoelaces at school when changing from PE so I looked into these shoe laces. They were simple to put together but I would advise you to get the shoe on before deciding where the magnetic clips go as you end up doing it a few times till you get it right!

Ok
Had to order a second pair as the first ones I couldn't screw onto the lace the hole wasn't made big enough on one of the clasps but second one works great

No more laces to tie
Great idea, no need to adjust or tie laces, good for people with disabilities or find it difficult to tie laces. Just pull trainers on and kick off.

Beyond awful
They simply don't work. You cut the shoe lace, feed it into a small hole in the buckle, and then put a single screw through that hole to keep it in place. Firstly the screw is tiny, and hard to get in (while having to hold the lace in place). But that's fine - you can manage it after a while. But a single screw isn't enough, and there's not enough of the lace in the hole to grip to. So the lace just comes out leaving you with a lace you can't use (because you've cut it) and a buckle that doesn't work. Nice idea, but the reality doesn't match up with the expectation. My advice would be not to waste your money on these.
