Great device and great value
The iron neck alpha is a much better value for your money than the more expensive iron neck halo devices. Because it has D rings on all 4 sides, you have the versatility to do side bending and rotational exercises in addition to the conventional forward and back motions. I know many people are used to using these harnesses with a weight attached to a chain hanging from the harness, but trust me us a resistance band attached to the d rings instead. It's a great way to rehab or build up the neck stability and strength without putting as much stress on the neck. I'm a personal trainer and I use this with a lot of my clients if they have chronic tightness or aches in their neck. It helps reduce pain and improve range of motion. I've even used it when I have a tension headache, and by balancing the tension between all the neck muscles instead of just the ones that attach to the base of the skull, my headache went away.I wouldn't say the harness is 100% comfortable or sturdy, but I don't know if any head harness can make that claim. At least I've never tried one that is completely comfortable and doesn't shift at all when using it. I can usually steady it while I'm using it by holding 1 or 2 of the D rings while doing my neck motions.I highly recommend this and would buy it again. I've bought 2 of them so I have one at home, and one at the gym. Anyone that wrestles, does Jiu Jitsu, boxing, muay thai, kickboxing, plays football or rugby, should have one of these. Or just anyone with a weak or sensitive neck should use it to improve their neck stability. Under the supervision of a medical or rehab professional, I'm sure it would be valuable to some people recovering from concussions or neck injuries too, if used properly.

The strap is much better
The strap doesn’t scratch you. The head will move and come over your eyes depending upon the weight.

Well made, but too loose.
It is well designed and made of quality materials.I can only give it four stars because even fully tightened it was too loose to get proper tension. It worked for hanging weights from the chin straps and using my neck to swing back and forth, which felt amazing.

Nice feel
About 6 workouts in. So far so good. The multiple attachment rings are very handy for different angles to keep it interesting

Quality is good, very bad design
The quality is definitely good, but it’s 4x the price of a regular harness so that’s expected. They tried to switch up the way it straps compared to a regular neck harness and it’s really awkward, if you have any hair it will get caught on for sure, and the front iron things that hold the rope with the weight will rub against your face really hard. I don’t know the names of the parts to properly describe but trust me it’s really bad, just buy a regular harness. Only reason I’d get this if you neck curl 135lbs and scared for safety on the cheaper ones

Almost an amazing price of equipment
This thing has amazing build quality. I dont doubt the quality of the product at all. But the problem lies with the top head strap being too long and not adjustable. Im 6'1" 250lbs with a big norwegian noggin and this thing sits all the way down on my eyes. I tried pulling the side straps really tight and hoped that would hold strong. But when I starting doing reps with 15 lbs, it just slid back down over my eyes. And that canvas material rub across the bridge of my nose bad. Gonna have to return it and try one of the cheaper options. Sucks cause I really like the quality of the build and the having more D ring locations to use.
