Awesome quality exhaust
Installed on my new 2014 Ford Raptor. Holy SHxx! This performance exhaust sounds awesome. Very easy to install and matched perfectly to my vehicle hangers. Cant go wrong with this on any Ford, It let's people know you are there if you need to too hit the gas!

The best of the best... at an affordable price!!
I've had this system for 30,000 miles now and I get compliments on it everywhere I go. It is nice and deep and really makes the 6.2L sound ALIVE! The in cab noise is very tolerable compared to most catbacks that I've heard but BEWARE the cold start! I had to start parking my truck down by our barn during duck season because the neighbors would wake up and get angry... Any time the temp gets below 40 degrees it will roar like no other upon startup! The black powdercoating does wear off if you have a direct line from your tires to the tips so the chrome may be the best choice.

Not really that big of a deal but it still would have been nice to know before hand
I installed this on my 2013 ford raptor. I was under the impression that this was a bolt on kit, but sadly the 6.2 uses a different flange than what this kit comes with. It would be a direct bolt in for the 5.0 and the 3.5, nut on the 6.3 you have to cut off your original flange and re-use it. Not really that big of a deal but it still would have been nice to know before hand. its a great sounding exhaust, there is a little bit excessive drone in the cab but it doesn't bother me personally. I know there are some that would prefer no noise in the cab at all unless at WOT. It fit all the factory hangers with no need to modify or change anything. Other than the flange it is a well engineered and great fitting exhaust system

Deep Exhaust Note But Loud
A friend of mine is a mechanic (not an exhaust specialist). This was his first exhaust installation and I helped out. It took about 45 minutes. The only modification we needed to make was using a chop saw to cut the pipe to fit my 6.5" truck bed. It was a simple installation. As far as the sound? I described it to my brother as a "deep growl" that turns into a "pissed off wolverine" when you open it up. Cruising down the highway, the "helicopter" like noise (is that the drone people refer to?) inside the cabin was definitely a little obnoxious. I had the exhaust for about a week before having a local exhaust specialist install a glass pack in replacement of the Roush muffler ($60). This toned down the noise in the cabin about 15% to 20%. With that, I'm very pleased with the exhaust note now. If someone ticks me off, I can open it up a little and they'll very much hear it.. but the cabin noise is tolerable. The sound from the outside sounds a little more like a man's truck (more subtle) instead of a teenager's (look at me, look at me!). In summary, the exhaust was a little too loud for my tastes out of the box, but with the modification I had made, it sounds perfect. My truck is a black on black F-150 FX4 crew cab (similar style as Ford Tremor) and the black exhaust pipes look PERFECT on it.

Everything about this exhaust was great except the black tips
Everything about this exhaust was great except the black tips. After two weeks the powder coat melted off. As far as sound goes I left the stock resonator on my 6.2l raptor to make it a little more subtle. Otherwise I think it would of been too loud for my taste.
