I initially purchased two of these lights for the backyard grass area (small area) and have since purchased two more. I’m not sure how much light they will add to the yard (new home to me) but the pattern (looking down from the deck to back yard) is gorgeous! Makes for wonderful ambiance lighting in our backyard. My wife placed them on shepherd hooks on the side of the shed !!!! As the weather warms and I start working in the yard, I will probably add more lights for accent. One of the four lights doesn’t hold a charge for as long as the others - lights have a glow for about six to seven hoursThey lasted from dusk till dawn the very first day . Just follow the instructions and you’re all set.Would buy them again !

I got these to put on the patio table, my husband and I sit outside almost every night and it is nice to have a small amount of light but not enough that bugs are going to be annoying us.These are well made, the material is metal, and they're water-resistant too so you don't need to worry about them being outside if it were to rain. They put off light through the cutouts and leave a cute design on the table. There's a handle at the top for easy hanging as well. These are solar and do require six to eight hours of sunlight to charge, but they stay lit until dawn basically. These would be pretty around a pool or hot tub too! The possibilities are definitely endless!

The design is eye-catching and the amount of light it sheds when it's on is warm and bright. The best part of it all was unboxing it, assembly was a breeze and all I had to do was set it in the sun and wait till nightfall. These lanterns are attractive during the day and even more attractive at night when they light up. The solar panels work not only with direct sunlight but gather enough energy just from daylight itself. Definitely worth the price I paid for them. Like someone already mentioned, you have to turn the on switch on. The instructions are a little vague so you remove the top and the on switch is underneath it. It's truly an amazing solar lamp. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another for a gift.

This makes for a lovely additional to the garden at night - the designs light up the surroundings and they look amazing as the light is quite bright and projects the designs all over.It is solar powered so it will need to be left in an area with plenty of sunlight over several hours but can be moved once it has gained enough charge.It is IP44 waterproof so you can leave it out in the rain and have no worries about it getting damaged.The metal frame is very strong and doesn't bend easily so it should survive even if it falls down from wherever it gets put up.Overall, it's quite bright and gives off a lovely design when lit. Definitely makes a nice touch in any garden.

I bought this to add a bit of light to my tomato planter. It’s quite dark on that side of the garden so I wanted to brighten it up.This pretty solar lantern actually gives off quite a lot of light. I can see all of my plants in the planter at night. Hopefully it will deter pests too.It’s very pretty looking and gives off light patterns from the frame. I’ve had lots of comments and people asking where I got it from. I actually purchased another one a few days later for my mum as a gift because we both liked it that much.I would highly recommend this solar light!

When I ordered my torch lights, I was afraid that the flame would be look artificial. Was I ever wrong! They were delivered just before dark and I set them up in the back yard by the pool without telling my wife. I was sitting at the computer when suddenly my wife came in and said excitedly, "Something is on fire in our back yard!" I had a hard time convincing her that they were solar tiki-torches. (I had not even seen them come on, so I was surprised when I saw them.) This is the fourth night and they are still "burning" brightly all night long with a wonderful reflection in the pool. I have no idea how long they will last but I am sure that they will be a bargain! Highly recommend and they are ready to go out of the box. Couldn't be easier. 5++

Purchased these to place around rockery. Well packaged and simple to activate. Others have commented on set up issues. By twisting the solar panel top, a white tube is found, there is a switch on the underside of the tube. Set to off, turning the switch to on and placing panel back. Forgot about them till dusk. All four alight and flickering away. Really do give that burning torch effect. Very pleased so far. Mine are situated that they get full sunshine for half the day, be interesting how they fare in winter months. Overall, great little product. Thinking of another purchase.

Absolutely beautiful worth every penny. It's really pretty in the day time and night time. When I first opened the box the lantern was dented in a little and I ordered a replacement. When I took out the light to turn the switch on I easily popped it back into place and it's perfect good as new. I was able to cancel the replacement and I was sent with an email it was all done with ease. I love my new light and I'm happy I don't have to worry about returning the replacement that I didn't need. I love this so much I would give this away as gifts. Definitely will buy again.
