I like this protector quite a lot. Very thick and durable for my two Pitbulls and Beagle. It’s mounting system holds very well to the door and does what it’s supposed to be doing. Also, thanks to its durability it is safe for dogs by not leaving any splinters behind. I also noticed, that it’s surface seems to be paintable, which I am planning on doing to match doors and walls around to blend in. I will definitely buy more for other locations.

Wow! Finally someone made it. Door protector not from plastic, but wood. Actually plywood. Packed in the recyclable carton box. It is very nicely cut, no splinters on the edges. Attached to door with Velcro adhesives. Looks nice on my door. I recommend it.

I used plastic protectors before and I did not like them. This one is made of wood.But it is not just a piece of wood. It is nicely laser cut with smooth edges and natural color.You can attach it to the door using adhesive fasteners. It looks OK on the door and protects it from scratches.

First of all, they gave an odd number of velcro dots. Pretty careless and just dumb. Secondly, the velcro dots are absolute garbage and don't hold this item up at all. The board wouldn't stay in place for two minutes. Sure, the dots stuck to the door and they stuck to the board, but they wouldn't stick to each other. Not sure if they just failed to mail the fuzzy side of the dots (again, careless) or if they actually intend for the dots to work with just the prong side of the velcro. Who knows, the box came damaged, with no bubble wrap inside, and with no explanation of what was to be found in the box.

A nice piece of wood, haven’t had it long but I’m sure it will stand up to doggies. Provided a great amount of adhesive things, you could probably remount 3 times with all of the attachers provided. You could probably stain this for even more durability if you have some sitting around. Like that it’s eco friendly but comes in a plastic bag!! Work on that in the future

It’s been on for less than a month and already it’s not sticking to all its original points of Velcro. Only reason I’m giving 3 stars is my dog seems to be a little afraid of it so now he scratches around it and not on it. It doesn’t seem to be wide enough to stick to traditional doors that have the rectangular cut outs in it.

Sturdy. Works better than the vinyl plastic.
