Take the FPV plunge without spending $$$
Things I like - It's very comfortable. The foam around the face is thick and the straps are wide with a very wide range for adjusting the fit. It's easy to configure. With only three buttons, channel selection and video options are intuitive and simple to change. And the video is good. Once I had the proper channel selected, the video from my quad was bright and clear with minimal breakup.Things I don't like - the dipole antenna wasn't that great. I replaced it with a cloverleaf - not to look like the cool kids, but because there was a noticeable change in range with the new antenna. Also, there is no way to adjust the video in terms of ocular distance. If you have issues with your near vision there isn't an easy way to compensate.Still, I like this headset. At the price point it's a great way to enter the FPV world.

Poorly designed and manufactured
The antenna and button to change channels is taped inside the unit to the top and can come loose easily. I hooked this up to my 250 and because of it being loose, it's incredibly unreliable. Led to many crashes because the camera would go out for a good 3 seconds. Also, the screen is not flat - it is angled. So if you wear it comfortably it feels like you have to look up. There is no way to fix it. These would be good if you don't care about crashing but these are way too unreliable. Finally, I have a moderately sized head. To make it fit, I adjusted the cable all the way to get it on comfortably. If you have a big head, I have no idea how you will use it but I'm sure it would be creative. No I do not recommend this product.

Impressive for the price.
Picture is great! These are a great set of starter goggles. Just ordered a second pair for my son! Goggles can be the most costly investment in FPV flying. These goggles provide great picture without a lot of bells and whistles. Worth every penny while I try to digure out if I really need an expensive pair.

Don't break the bank! Buy these!!
I purchased one pair already and enjoyed them so much I purchased another pair to allow my friends and family see first person live action of me zipping my Eachine Wizard X220 through the neighborhood. Very easy to use, battery life lasts a good amount and I like that you can adjust the contrast and brightness etc... Just as you would a TV

Headset works, but battery is a no go
First I want to say that this is probably a great headset, and from all of the testing I have done on it, it is definitely good for the price.Pros:-It's an all in one unit that goes together in 5 minutes or less.-Very intuitive design, and it allows for manual changing of video channels, none of this auto seeking stuff that won't let you fly with others easily.-Cheaper than just about any other entry level headset, my first headset cost around $130, so this saves some money and having to shop around for components such as receivers and so on.-Comfortable! It's light and rests easy on your head.Cons:-Build quality could be better. The receiver board was very loose when I attached the antenna, such that it would wiggle around inside the housing. After opening it up, it appears that the video receiver is held in by a single glue joint and the SMA connector. An easy fix with a glue gun, but not something I would like to see on a freshly unboxed product.-Dead battery. This is the main reason I knock off stars. The headset works, it's good. But the battery I received was dead on arrival and would not charge. Replacements are on the order of $16 or less depending on capacity, so it's not worth returning. I plugged the headset up to a laptop charger to see if it would light up, and everything works in the unit except for the battery. Using a multi-meter I confirmed that I had a dead cell (0V output), which shouldn't be the case for a new product.Tl;dr The headset is good, but QA isn't so good. You may have no problems, or you might get a dead battery. Until a replacement battery gets here, or I get my hands on a barrel connector that I can rig up to a 2 cell battery or rechargable 9V, I won't know for sure how this performs otherwise.

... review with a grain of salt but these are pretty good. Instructions are terrible but its pretty self ...
Never owned a pair of fatsharks so take this review with a grain of salt but these are pretty good. Instructions are terrible but its pretty self explanitory. Minus one star because the head strap lacks very much adjustability. Also the foam around the edges causes me to not be able to breath through my nose. Great picture though so it serves its purpose for pretty cheap.

Also stock antenna is not the greatest at least with the JXD509G drone
Decent goggles needs a clip for the battery to fit on the headband. Solved it myself with superglue and a clip. Also stock antenna is not the greatest at least with the JXD509G drone. May want to look into upgrading the antenna.

Great product to begin FPV flying with.
Great product for the money. Not certain why they used the battery connector they did. Makes it inconvenient to charge. Head strap is not as good as I would like. Great value for the price. Great product to begin FPV flying with.
