Rizzoli Terry Richardson: Volumes 1 & 2: Portraits and Fashion

I'm a fan of Richardson as a photographer and own a few books of his more pornochic enterprises but I would want a book of his professional fashion shoots with fashion models with perhaps even some sexy outtakes that didn't make the cut because they were too racy. These books here (this is a boxset with 2 books) are a retrospective of his professional work but not the best one. The portraits book is, for my taste, a waste, as it features a ton of celebrity portraits, most in his now iconic black and white hard light in the face style, most of which have been seen way to many times. That book should have been sold separately because I don't think Richardson fans buying this wanted repetitive portraits of boring celebs. As for the other book, it's OK, at best. There's not enough of what such a book should contain and too much material that could have been cut. It is a very chaste book and this is not an adjective that fits with Richardson and I don't think should be associated with a book of his work. Without going to the extremes that have been covered in other books, this one could have been so much more. If I could I'd give this 2,5 stars but as I can't 2 is more fitting than 3.

Del libro che dire, a mio avviso tra i piu completi di Richardson, a prezzo pieno non lo prenderei mai ma a circa 50 Euro è da prendere in considerazione. Anche se può piacere o meno, l'influenza che ha avuto il suo modo di fotografare rende Richardson fondamentale per capire qualcosa di più sull'estetica attuale. Riguardo al venditore del titolo: Ottima esperienza, purtroppo ho avuto un problema con il libro, ma il venditore si è preso carico in modo celere del problema e si è reso disponibile a risolvero nel modo a me più congeniale, mi ha proposto un paio di soluzioni alternative. Quindi nonostante il piccolo imprevisto alla fine sono contento del libro e del venditore.

belle foto e stile d'impatto. è il più sofisticato, è il meno volgare di Terry R.è in due volumi. il costo è elevato, ma le pagine sono belle, grandi, luminose. ritratti e moda. un buon ricordo sul fotografo americano.

Pagato 32 euro. Anche se costasse nuovamente 145 euro, ve lo consiglio caldamente

Terry Richardson ist ein echter Meister hinter der Kamera. Mehr muss man dazu nicht sagen. Die Bücher kommen in einem edlen Umschlag und es gibt zwei verschiedene gebundene Bücher darin.
