As a massage therapist of many years I have found that I need to try new products. I had been using the Soothing Touch Simple Basics for a while. When I place an order for that product, I found out that it would not make it to me in time. I then placed an order for the Lite. I actually liked it so much more , and it washes out of the sheets better. It is water soluble. I would recommend this product , because it has a great glide and you can still do deep tissue work with it too.

I have been using this oil for about 6 months now and really like it for both deep and lighter work. It sinks in well and doesn't "slip" when I am doing focused, slower strokes, but offers enough glide that I can do a regular Swedish massage with it. It's unscented which is perfect for me because I use essential oils throughout the session. Overall this is a great, basic massage oil- chemical free and unscented, balanced with a nice glide that lasts so you don't need to keep applying more to an area you're working on. It does feel slightly "heavy" to me... meaning that for those clients who want to leave the session without any oil on their skin, it probably isn't the best option unless they have really dry skin. Or what I do is offer them a steamed towel at the end to remove any excess oil.

got this as a alternative to the expensive love potion oils. works great as a full body rub and a little goes along way. smooth and absorbs well and keeps skin soft. not bad smelling either, nothing perfumy or medical, just oil. tastes like crap so the kissing of the back not recommended. but this is a nice oil for a fun full body rub oil that works and lasts I recommend it. keep the fun love potions for the extra special night or when feeling extra naughty!

My wife is a massage therapist and has used this oil for about one year exclusively. Her skin was becoming very irritated from inexpensive oils used by a spa she was working at and decided to use this oil at her own expense. Her skin is wonderful now. Most customers appreciate that it's fragrance free, and it is easy to wipe off with hot towels. Good product.

I love this oil. It's become the only kind I use.The texture is top notch. I tend to do a lot of deep tissue, so I need the control. This gives you the ability to go slow without getting that tacky feel like some oils and creams will give. On the other hand, even a little bit will let you slide across the skin when going light. It glides when you want it to and is thin enough to let you grip when you want it to.You don't have to use much, so it lasts a long time and your clients will love that you haven't drenched them in oil.It washes well, though it will stain after months of getting it on your clothes or sheets. That is the downside of oil and a lot of my linens had to be treated when washed to fully get the oil out.The fact that it has zero smell is a huge plus. I can add my own oils or leave it for my clients with sensitive noses.

I have been using coconut oil for the past few years, but decided to switch it up to this oil and am very excited I did! Coconut oil seems almost dry to me. I found myself using more and more oil on my clients then I would like. With this oil, I use a lot less, and its VERY moisturizing! I love the way it feels on my skin and my clients skin. Something about the blend of the oils makes this more satisfying to use. And using less oil is my goal as it does get pricey. I would highly recommend this oil to massage therapists, especially if you enjoy doing Swedish or relaxing styles. I also use this oil when I do deep tissue as well, I just use a lot less.

When I was ordering, I read that this particular massage oil from Soothing Touch (Lite - Fragrance Free) was favored over their others and I can readily see why. I love it!!It's fragrance free, lighter that most massage oils and soothing and soaks into the skin easily without becoming sticky, leaving absolutely no stains on clothing or sheets. It's fantastic. Hubby and I have ours in a pump dispenser for ease of use for our feet, elbows and hands in the winter and of course for our weekly massages. A terrific product; good thing I purchased the gallon.
