CFI 3/4" MIP Arrow Brass Style Brass Heavy Duty No-Kink Multi-turn Hose Bibb (3/4" Male)

My city water is 120 psi. This holds the pressure for about 2 years then I need to replace. This is a high use valve and seems to last longer than Lowes or Home Depot products (if you can find them).

I have purchased two of these hose bibbs, the first has been in service for over a year and is working very good. The second one I just received last month feels loose and does not make the same good / solid valve seat seal when closed. It is possible there are some QUALITY CONTROL issues going on here or the suppliers changed to a different manufacturer. Regardless these are still better than the big box stores hose bibbs which last about a year.

It installed easily enough and works well. I’m concerned that the thin o ring/gasket that seals it might wear out after repeated use. It’s really thin. But so far so good!

Installed it about a month ago (California so not cold, FYI) and it works fine. The rubber gasket inside is very soft, so you need to be cautious not to overtighten. Also, if you have a hose installed it can be hard to tell if you have tightened it enough (again, because there's no positive feel of it closing). But in a few days you can tell by the position of the handle. Overall no issues, would buy again.

I live in San Antonio and suffered through the big freeze, however, one of my hose bibs did not. Home Depot and Lowe’s were out and they had no idea when they would get any in. This one looked like it was well built but didn’t confirm that until I received it. Very well made and works like a charm. I’ll probably get a couple of more to replace some of my older hose bibs around my house. I would definitely recommend.

Bought the wrong one twice at home depot. Gave up and got it right here. A little more expensive than it would have been, but arrived fast and did the job.
