You won't find a more reasonably priced set for the money, is there better... Probably but at 10x the price. This is an excellent set

Very good for all kitchen and garden sharpening needs. Not the best for my whittling knives, but that was my own inexperience rather than a fault with the product.

Can’t rate the product for use yet, can rate it bad for all the black mold all over the instruction booklet and the special offer leaflet! For some reason the booklet and the offer were wet/very damp? Could the stones have been put in wet by the manufacturer? No clue! Box they came in was fine/dry as was the top layer inside the box with the strop and base. Could it have been a return I was sold, I don’t think so as everything else was packaged in plastic (strop and knife guide) and the stones appear to have never been used?!?! Rating it one star at the moment just for the fact that I received one that didn’t appear to have been opened but had mold inside. Amazon were as helpful as they could be, but as this was only fulfilled by Amazon they could only offer a refund if I returned it and as this was bought on prime day could not give me the same offer! Will update after I use them for a bit.Update: (Changed to 5 Stars) Mojino customer service (Mary) contacted me via email to apologise about the situation with the black mould. Turns out that it was a packing error as the stones were slightly wet (they are whetstones) and the instruction booklet should have been placed in the upper level of the box and not where they were put. Absolutely fantastic customer service! Offered to send me a replacement or an Amazon voucher for the cost of the sharpening stone set. Seeing as I was already using them I couldn’t in good conscious accept the voucher or another set. As a set of stones these are fantastic, if you know how to use whetstones these will make your knives sharper than when your knives were new! My knives have never been sharper!

Found this to be very useful with some help with YouTube videos, I saw some reviews saying not to use the knife thing for the angle as it’s marked and damaged the knives a bit.The main reason for me buying this is for my cut throat razor as I’ve started using one, which the stones have helped with that and helped me sharpen some very blunt knives, however the leather honing strap, is swade and not smooth leather and dulled the edges of the cut throat razor, and the knife blades, I have a Leather one and resharpened the blades with the stones again and then used my proper leather honing strap and they are as sharp as anything.So I would suggest if buying this as it is a good piece of kit, to get a proper “LEATHER” honing strap. This is something the seeker and makers need to change. I’m guessing it’s imported and they use swade as it was cheaper to add and it’s just to make money.The stones work well and I would advice you soak the one you are using in a bowl of water till the bubble stop, then take it out and use it to sharpen your blades. Don’t just dribble a bit of water on line some YouTubers say, that will just not work correctly and will take longer… it’s know the correct way as wet and dry.The rubber base for the stones and the wooden holder are very well made and very useful for a good clean sharpening edge to your blades.I hope this helps.

Immediately upon opening - great value for money. I guess the quality should be assumed with a product like this but I was very pleased when I opened it all the same. I was also very pleased with the flattening stone that it came with as it means it will last me for years and years and years. The strop is very thick leather, really heavy duty, and both that and the stones are a really good size for proper use. I have a travel sharpening stone but these are great for doing a proper job. The bottom of the bamboo holder thing is grippy all over as well, which stuck perfectly to my coffee table while i sat and sharpened my knife. Even at the 3000 grit block, my knife is now crazy sharp. I'm going to finish it off on the 8000 and strop tomorrow to see how ridiculously sharp I can get it. Another thing to note is that it came with a little booklet on how to use, which normally I wouldn't expect to be any quality but it was very decent, certainly more than enough for a beginner to get started, especially with the angle guide (I haven't used that yet as I was sharpening a knife with a scandi grind). All in all I'd definitely recommend. Great value and really high quality.

When I paid for this item I was half expecting to be had over as I had no knowledge about sharpening tools and knifes.My university lecturer then taught me that this is the best priced package he’d seen.I still use this months on and never struggle in my work or in the kitchen.
