Bandai spirits DX Chogokin VF-1S Valkyrie Roy Focker Special The Super Dimension Fortress Macross

Great model been looking to collect these since I was a kid take time when changing modes there’s a lot of moving / adjustable parts but look great posed ! Now to get some more ;)

This Bandai DX line of robotech VFs is Super nice. The detail is excellent. The size is very good for viewing and posing and looks great in my mam cave. Had to get a DX VF-1J to go with this 1S. The paint work is perfect on both, I don't see any off lines or crooked decals. This really is a work of art. Even my wife was amazed when she saw it out of the box. These are becoming very expensive and hard to find . So if you have the opportunity to get one don't hesitate.

Came earlier than expected. Once you pick it up, you can easily tell that it is a high quality product deserving the big bucks spent on it. All the joints feel sturdy except one hip joint, but I feel that it’s an isolated problem, and even then, it’s not really a big deal. The level of detail is exceptional. A MUST HAVE FOR ANY FAN/COLLECTOR.

Level of detail and articulation is absolutely amazing. It is sturdy and heavy. It is hard to transform, and it`s certainly NOT for kids. But if you want a VF-1 model for your collection - there is one to get.

This is the premier figure for Macross fans. It is made of high quality PVC and metal. It has a lot of weight to it, and the components that move or rotate feel really solid. I think if you are of the age to afford this and have been a Macross fan for years, it's time to buy one..

I’ve had a few figures but this one blows the others away. The size and detail is so impressive. If you’re looking for the best transforming figure out there this is definitely the one. I got mine from Fast Japan and they were great. It got to me weeks earlier than I expected. They also fixed an issue that was completely my fault and I was so appreciative. I highly recommend this for anyone who loves Robotech or Macross!

This is such a dope figure! It feels premium: high quality plastic and metal parts. I love the 1/48 scale. This is my second Chogokin figure and despite the price, the quality justifies the cost. Definitely want to save up and get another from this series.

Good quality and design

Though it was perhaps obvious that Bandai would being their DX Valkyrie range with Hikaru's VF-1J (being the POV character for MACROSS), questions immediately popped up as to when Roy's bird would put in an appearance.Indeed, as we got movie and TV craft for Max and Kakizaki things only intensified.But, all good things come to those who wait.Obvious points: Mechanically, this is identical to earlier iterations, in both good and bad ways. The build is solid as ever, and the detailing just as on previous Valks. Sadly, however, this also means the connections and weak points in the model are also reproduced (arm locks to the fuselage, weak fingers in the GERWALK hands and the obvious gaps between the tail and leg fins with the body - among others). Nothing game breaking if you are a DX Valkyrie fan, of course and nothing I find a true negative on a model which was always going to be a compromise, as it is transformable. This is still the best MACROSS diecast model range out there.Moreover, being the TV version of Roy's Skull One (to be paired with the soon to be released TV Fast Pack) this model has to take top spot for me personally.My one gripe is that, even now, Bandai does not seem to have addressed the complaint which accompanied Hikaru's 1J: specifically, that the Special edition base would only really accommodate an unadorned Fighter mode display.That said, Get it whilst you can, as I am not certain if/when a generic version of the TV 1S will be made available.

価格動向を気にしながら、25,000円を切ったところで我慢出来ずにポチっとな！と購入。 やっぱええなぁフォッカーさんの機体は。前年購入の輝機と並べて、ドッグファイター聴きながら眺めてウットリしております。 巷では、「足が折れる問題」があるらしいのでまだ変形させずに初回限定のスタンドで飾っております。が、このスタンドが15度の角度がつけられる様になり、これがツボにはいりました。かっこいい〜 買って良かった！。星1つ減は、やはりミサイルは付いてて欲しかった。 後はスーパーパックを手に入れ輝に乗せ替えて「グッバイガール」の再現を待つばかり。 マックスのJが気になるなぁ。追記。スーパーパック手に入れました。HI-METAL Rよりバランスがとれている様でめっちゃカッコイイ！秋に発売されるアーマードパーツには輝の宇宙仕様のスーツのフギュア付なので、予約したから来たら乗せ替えよっと。追記の追記、アーマードパーツが手に入りましたので、早速パイロットを乗せ替えましたが、見た目あまり変わらない。まぁいいや納得すれば。で、マックスのVF-1Jが欲しいな。魂ネイションではアーマードで出てたけど、ありぁ無いわ。出すならスーパーパック付きでしょ。マックス用は専用色なんだからバンダイさんとち狂わないでよ。あと専用スタンドに「ドッグファイター」等音が出る物を販売してくれたら絶対買うんだけどなぁ。
