Diamond Select ToysStar Trek: Enterprise: NX-01 Electronic Starship

It was as advertised. No problems with the product. Was in original packaging and unopened. However, I reluctantly had to open it to check the batteries. Its just for me and not ro ever resell, so I carefully opened the box. There was only one sound and the ships necells did not light up. I feared the batteries were old and may have leaked. I expected to be able to see the nacelles light up and cycle through sounds while boxed. I quickly saw that mine came set in demo mode. Had to open the battery cover to see the switch. I moved to switch to "normal" I belive it said and heard more sounds. The nacells still did not light up though. So I changed the batteries. And whala, it all worked. The original batteries were weak and luckily had not leaked. I checked the voltage and they were a little low. If you get one of these to collect, be aware the original batteries may be old. You may want to remove them for risk of leaking and corroding the battery compartment. I'm very happy with it. Its the perfect size.

First off, I got this WAY sooner than I expected. Kudos to the company that shipped it!While I would have preferred to have gotten it cheaper for obvious reasons (188+tax & shipping is a lot), the NX-01 Enterprise has been one of my top favorite ships and I've been wanting to own a well made model of it for a very long time. This also has lights that can also continuously stay on which is great. It's not the best model ever made, but it is very well built and satisfactory model for fun display. Also, the picture on the page really needs to be updated. It looks MUCH better in person.Also, watch Enterprise! Great show that's severely underrated and got canceled way too soon. Just like every Star Trek show, the first (and sometimes the second) season is rough, but once you get to Season 3, it gets really good.

I own NCC 1701-A USS Enterprise, Klingon Bird Of Prey, and Romulan Bird Of Prey all Diamond Select. This NX-01 Enterprise is the most detailed of them all. She is beautiful. I would rather that the sounds it makes be more "ship functions" than dialogue by Capt. Archer, but it still doesn't take away from the incredible detail and colorful lighting on this toy. 5 stars. It was also cheaper than the others by $10, so I'd give it 6 stars if there was an option.

This model is almost exactly what I wanted. The paint job is excellent and the packaging is very nice. The lights are also very good. There are a few problems though. The plastic it is made of almost feels cheap, despite the price. The sound effects also crackle and are grainy. The stand takes a huge amount of force to attach, but does not seem to be very fragile fortunately. The worst part for me is that the deflector dish on the front of the ship is bent. This is very irritating because otherwise the model is a great representation of the nx-01. All in all however it is a nice ship and worth the money, just don't pay too much for it.

Beautiful pre-assembled model, nice stand, nice lighting. Mine came in and sadly one of the nacelles was put on a quarter turn out of place leaving one of the lighted chiller grills facing up and down on the starboard side instead instead of lighted on each side. I just can't understand how such a glaring mistake at the manufacturer made it through quality control as it is VERY OBVIOUS especially when lighted up. Tried to get an exchange from the store I purchased it from online and they had sold me the last one and were not planning to re-stock and suggested I ship it back to them at my expense, and they would "consider" a refund. Haven't tried Diamond Select directly yet but plan on trying. Beautiful model which warrents the 5 stars, other than that one defect of the starboard nacelle.

I've ordered 3 of the Diamond select ships... and this is the one I was most disappointed in. It looks like the left nacelle was broken at the factory and reattached very poorly, doesn't even look symmetrical.Everything else works great... but the nacelle is extremely disappointing.

I love this ship - BUT, the directions are poor and I cannot get the ship on its stand. It makes no sense on what they say - so a little upset that it is laying on a table - If anyone knows how to insert the extra piece - Would love to know - Most of the directions for these are poor, but have never had this problem before.Quality - Excellent - Sound - Excellent - Love it, except can't get on stand.

Okay, it looks nice. The lights are good.BUT...................The sounds are not interesting, and the main light show is n the warp nacells, which are not attatched and will come off.YOU WILL LOSE THEM, AS I HAVE.I was rather disappointed with it.

I gotta say this toy is awesome.The detail in the paint job is just amazing, and Kudos to the company for such a fantastic job.This ship also has assorted phrases from the captain, and it also has a lights and sound only mode (hold the button in), and a lights only mode (press it again). It uses three AAA batteries.The stand is amazingly similar to the stand for the JJ Movie Enterprise (don't get me started). It actually works OK. Better than the stand for the TOS Enterprise which will not keep the ship upright. At least not without a lot of fidgeting, and a few prayers. Because of the way the ball is attached to the stand, and the way it mates with the ship, I cannot get the ship to be level. It's always at an angle.The deflector dish was skewed, but a little twisting in the opposite direction, and letting it return on its own seemed to fix it.I LOVE the scale. It is smaller than the other ships, but that's exactly how it should be. This ship should be a little smaller than TOS Enterprise, and that's what it is. I really wish they would keep the same scale for all these ships. For example, the Klingon Bird of Prey is way too large. It's a great toy, but it's way out of scale as compared to the rest of the ships.I'm so glad there was a reissue. There is no way I would pay the reselling jerks what they are currently asking for the first run ship. From what I hear, this ship is better anyway. I just hope other people can find it here. It seemed most of the time when I was searching for it on Amazon, it was the original run ships that were coming up with crazy prices.

J'ai choisi ce vaisseau star trekparce-que j'aime la série .Je le trouve un peu petit ,10 centimètre de plus serait le bien venue . Je l'aime bien très belle réplique . . .

Ottimo prodotto. Curato nei dettagli pur essendo un modellino pre assemblato. Fornito di luci e suoni. Possibilità di avere le luci sempre accese con i suoni del ponte tenendo premuto per più di 5 secondi il pulsante posto nella zona della Plancia di comando della nave. Premendolo una seconda volta resteranno accese solo le luci creando una bellissima visione notturna. Ultima foto che pubblico un fotomontaggio del modellino da me acquistato con uno sfondo spaziale.

Of all Diamond Select Ships I have examined, this is by far the best! (OK - maybe joint place with the Klingon Bird of Prey Voyage Home ship). It's as close to the TV NX01 as I can notice, I think almost perfect replica. It is a bit smaller than other Diamond Select ships, but the TV NX01 was smaller than TV Enterprise 1701. The continual lights on effect is fabulous!! With lights on, this is by far the best of them all. If you do collect these then make sure you get this before they disappear and price shoots up. Definitely worth adding to the collection.
