My grandson is a music major and frequently wears ties for concerts. He loved this! I don't know much about tie quality, but this is perfect for him. He plays multiple instruments so I will be ordering others.

The colors are very pretty and soft.....not harsh like the sound of a drum! My husband spent his life playing his drums every chance he could...Still does, but age slows us down! He will love this tie at Christmas!

We needed a necktie with drums on it for our grandson, a 13-year-old drummer who's hoping his talent will get him a music scholarship to college. When he plays with his groups, a necktie is sometimes required - but at age 13, the only one he has is one he borrowed from his grandpa. When we found this, it was perfect!

This tie is not as good-looking in person. The lighter areas are washed out, so that when the tie is tied, there is a disturbing contrast between white and dark at the knot area. I ended up returning it.
