Great primer but hard to clean out of my airbrush …the only thing that I found that removes ( and I have used many products ) is the “ Totally Awesome” degreaser and cleaner from the dollar store. I use it strait and then water.

I paint resin model kits and wanted to move away from rattle can primers because their fumes were overwhelming. Even though I sprayed outside, my wife and I could still smell it from inside the house.After a bit of research, I decided to try the Vallejo surface primer (73.601), and it didn't stand up to even the slightest scratch test. Even after leaving it for over a week, it peeled (like a thin latex skin) when I ran my nail over it.So I moved on to Stynylrez. It was better than Vallejo, but still fairly easy to scratch. Then I read that I may need to wash my models more thoroughly before using it, and that made all the difference. I washed all the resin parts with dishsoap, applied the Stynylrez through my airbrush, and let them cure for a few days.The next time I tried the scratch test, the primer stayed put! Great stuff!I should note that both Vallejo and Stynylrez were generally free of fumes, as expected.

Awesome product. Easy to use, easy to clean up. Goes on like the ad says - covers well and quickly. Has good adhesion. It's now my go-to primer.

Great primer and can be sprayed out of the bottle. Easy clean ul with Vallejo airbrush cleaner. This was recommended to me after getting horrible results with other brands of acrylic primer.
