Bloomsbury The Wild Way Home

I've just finished this book and thought it was a wonderful tale for children and one that's certainly going to give young readers plenty to think about. I particularly liked the way the main character's gender wasn't identified, being written in first person, which makes it perfect for all children who enjoy a great adventure. Highly recommended.

I loved this book almost as much as my children (aged 8 and 12) Beautifully written, with vivid descriptive language which draws you in and a storyline which is exciting, adventurous, thoughtful and heartwarming all rolled into one. Fabulous!

Wow what a beautifully written book, full of adventure and filled with so much heart and feeling. I buy children's books regularly so I can find some wonderful stories to read to or be read by my two youngest boys (well that's my excuse anyway). This is a definite hit.

This book had me on the edge of my seat and moved me to tears. What a wonderful debut.

Lovely story set within a time travel to the stone age. Well written and addresses, loss and fear which spans the ages.
