So far so good!
This thing is fast as hell. Such an upgrade from my Dell. I received model eh0050wm rather than the eh0090wm, but the seller worked with me on that. The stats are basically the same, cannot tell a difference on the HP website. I'm assuming the 0090 has the backlit keyboard, because the 0050 does not have that. Not gonna split hairs when I needed this for my writing.I can shut down and start up this laptop in the blink of an eye. The updates did not take long at all. Wifi is great. I thought the SD slot would fit SDHC but I was wrong: no idea what size can fit into that slot (only ever seen micro + sdhc so) so that's kind of useless for me, but NBD. Didn't get it for the SD reader tbh.FYI, I switched to Microsoft Edge from Firefox. So much faster, and all the same great features. Sorry Firefox, you take up too much RAM. I did not test FF on this PC but did not ever plan to: switched over after seeing the difference on my old laptop.Battery life seems great, so far so good. I've been running lots of tabs, Mail, Spotify, and Discord, and I still have more than half memory after four hours or so. Not really counting. I love the 90 degree angle plug, and that the headphone jack is on the left side instead of the right.Laptop is sleek as hell. There is no removable battery, which for some reason I didn't notice at all until I got it. But hopefully that won't be a problem. It's so thin, color looks so nice, does not feel cheap.Love the keyboard, very punchy, feels great to type on. Yes, the power button is right next to the delete button, but it takes more pressure than every other button to press down. Num pad is great, the shortcuts on the function keys are awesome: I don't have to press FN to use the shortcuts, only to use the functions. And who really uses the actual functions (other than F5 and maybe F11?) anymore?Screen is very clear and crisp and bright. It kind of hurt my eyes at first tbh, but I'm used to it now, lol.All in all I am very happy with this purchase and will update if there are any changes.

AMD YES! Buy this laptop that beats Intel counterpart & save $200
*The unit I received does not have backlit keyboardI work in tech so I have owned & used many laptops including the ones with latest Intel 1135G7 & R3 4300U CPU.The Intel 1135G7 is fast with decent battery life as everyone expected so that's nothing much to talk about. The other Ryzen R3 4300U laptop I owned initially got driver issue for months that is constantly under clocked on battery & not turbo boosting causing lots of lags & stuttering. However, the issue seems to have been resolved by a driver update by the end of March so I decided to try the higher end R5 4500U HP Pavilion 15.I don't game on laptops so graphics is not an issue for me. The laptop is super fast, thin & light with a metal lid & palmrest. The 1080P IPS screen is good enough and the screen bezel is also very thin & up to 2021 standard, if not better than other laptop makers. The speakers are loud and good quality with B&O tuning. There is also a USB Type C port that supports PD charging via 65W GAN Chargers or power banks. The 6 core CPU out performs Intel counterpart for multi threaded tasks on AC, and is still very smooth with turbo boost working correctly on battery after the recent driver update. 8GB RAM is enough for every day use and some light Adobe work. The PCI-E SSD is Intel instead of other cheap alternatives such as Lite-on.The only negs I would give to this laptop is the absence of the biometric fingerprint scanner on the palmrest and the color fog blue that is not my personal favorite.Overall, I would rate this laptop 5/5 stars for its excellent price/performance. With the latest TSMC 7nm technology, the battery life is good. The laptop is fast & runs very cool. There is no need to spend an extra $200 getting the Intel 1135G7. I believe in the near future, no one cares anymore whether they are buying an Intel or AMD laptop as both of them are similar performance, but AMD is likely to gain marketing share due to much lower, or reasonable price point.

Great laptop, here's some useful info
I've had my eye on this laptop for a while and was not disappointed. Good screen and bright enough, handles perfectly some light gaming (I usually play Sims on ultra and wii u on 720), great speakers, microphone and camera for meetings and such, and the keyboard and touchpad are great. It has a nice aluminum buildIt has one USB C port that supports power delivery (up to 61w I think) and display port. Also has 2 USB A ports and an SD card port, as well as a dedicated charging port. The port distribution is a bit awkward but not too annoying.Have in mind that the function keys are a bit awkward (for example, the key to mute the speakers is the f5 key) but this can be changed on the bios or some remapping software. Also, this model (eh0090wm) does not have a back-lit keyboard which is a bummer, and in some lightning conditions you can't see the letters well. The seller I got it from has great customer service and very fast delivery.

Great gift for a college student
My daughter needed a new laptop for her college classes. I bought this and it has been.I made it much easier for her to get her homework done. I felt like I got a great value for the amount I spent on this.

Things are never what it seems to be
From the first time turning on the computer, I had issues with the computer. The sound stop working so I had too re-download the sound card for the speakers, then 2 days later the screen went black and I couldn't get the screen back but after 5 mins everything returned and then a few days later after putting my pin in to unlock my computer, the only thing I could do was move the finger arrow around. All in 1 week. Had too bring it to a HP service shop, its been 1 week and still haven't gotten it back
