Makes A Great Gift
Bought this for a special needs guy. He's fighting multiple issues and was supposed to leave us by around his twelfth or thirteenth birthdays. He's now 41. With the leather thong on the handle he's able to hold it up in front of this face and touch it. He likes doing that.He also knows what it's for and is very much willing to knock it against his folding wood TV table. That's just to let his mom know he's thirsty. As soon as I received it I oiled it with a couple of coats of olive oil. Not so much as to make it slippery but, enough for the wood to take in and help stop it from cracking over time. The design of the cup and the texture of the outside making holding it very easy. This was a good buy.

great cup!!
the cup keeps coffee hot, but only holds 1/2 of a cup.

Authentic And Affordable
What a great cup, and the price is about $20 less than a good, quality kuksa found elsewhere. It is larger than most traditionally made wood cups in that it holds 10 ounces rather than 6 ounces.

Great
This was a gift because the recipient always comments on mine. Nice size and wood seems nicely sealed.

The Kuksa mug holds 5 fl oz., NOT 8.0
The description says: "The Kuksa mug holds 8 fl oz"The one I received holds only 5, to the brim. Disappointing.

Exactly what I was looking for
Well made cup. I had my morning coffee out of it today. It's great! Good price, too.

Arrived with a massive crack
Cracked deeply from the base and up the side, likely will just split if you put anything warmer than tap water in it.
