I was quite surprised with this stand - looks better than I expected.I looked at a few of these stands - all more expensive than this - but decided to opt for this 'cheaper' version as the guitar it was for was not expensive and was more for show.Yes the wood is just plywood, yes it's not the sort of stand you'd stick your Les Paul Custom on, but for the price and what I needed it for it is ideal.

My main reason to buy this stand was to display my guitar in my living room as a part of the new decoration. So I was happy to pay £4-5 more than a typical industrial stand. It is very easy to assemble and holds my electro classical guitar very well. Recommended if you are after a stylish view in your room.

I have 3 of these now. They are ideal for the house, not as industrial as the metal ones.

Product was described on website and my email receipt as plywood with leather trim. It is in fact MDF with foam rubber trim

The foam padding is too narrow leaving a very thin edge of wood, this has damaged the paintwork on the bottom of my guitar.only had for about 4 weeks
