Made a difference!
I was talking with my older brother (by two years) and he was relating to me his experiences with testosterone supplements from his primary doctor. We are both in our 50s and I realized that I shared many of the same symptoms that had promoted him to see his doctor. Specifically, low energy, lower sex drive, and a sense of lethargy that robbed me of taking initiative to do the things that in the past I've always enjoyed doing. His procedure experiences however sounded quite unpleasant and expensive! Being mindful that, truthfully, my symptoms seemed to be less severe, I resolved to educate myself enough to find out if there were simpler alternatives I could explore before trying a medical intervention.Ashwagandha supplements crossed my radar and primarily based on their long history (several centuries) of safe usage...I searched Amazon and picked a Nutriflair product because I thought it had the GMP stamp--but it may not At any rate, after two weeks of two tablets daily I felt a definite change in my general energy level, sexual energy, and found that I had begun to do simple daily morning exercises again.... Something that I used to do when I was younger...Because I'm cheap and believe in a principal of pursuing minimally sufficient I lowered my dosage to one capsule a day. In total, I've been supplementing with Ashwagandha for just over 3 months, 5 days a week, (I usually take no supplements on weekend mornings out of respect for my liver). I feel great. I don't feel as if I still share any of the symptoms of general lethargy that were like a cloud over me. I have gained muscle mass from my very limited morning exercises and I feel like a start each and finish each day with a sense of robust well being. I will definite keep Ashwagandha in my morning routine.

Review
The first time I took the pills. I felt an immediate calmness within 15-30 mins (I was also very stress the first time I used it). I'm not sure if it was a placebo affect, but I continued to use it. I've used it for more than 30 days and it's hard for me to say if it has actually been beneficial. Before buying a bottle, I did a little research on ashwagandha and there's supposed to be many positive benefits, like what it says on the bottle and increase muscle mass/strength, reduce inflammation, etc. However, I've been ingesting these pills while also being very active and eating healthy. So, again, it's hard for me to say that it was this that caused "X,Y, and Z." However, I like to believe that it works. Also, because that first time when I felt that immediate calmness I figured it had to do something. Maybe my body has adjusted to the dosage and I don't get a great of a "kick" out of it. I'm not sure. In addition, many of the benefits are supposed to take 30-60 days of consistent usage. Also, just an FYI, it's two (2) pills which equal 1300 mg (when I bought it, I thought it was one pill) so a bottle has 60 dosage. From what I've researched, our body doesn't need more than that amount. But of course, everyone is different.I'm giving it a 4/5 based on the fact that I like to believe it's helping me, but I'm not 100% positive that it is...Also, I'm writing this review to get a free bottle.

Understand that a supplement works differently that an OTC drug.
I have been. taking a detox formula of chlorella and spirulina for the last few months that said if you are taking the detox formula, then it was necessary to also take ashwganda. Honestly, I do not remember why it said to add it in, but it works on all the areas of my body and mind where I hold stress.I chose this brand for a couple of reasons:1. Amazon choice2. Good dosage so I am not taking 10 pills at one time.3, it contains black pepper to allow for easier absorption into the blood stream (it would be a waste if most of it was not absorbed into the system.4. It is organic which has become more and more important in the choices that I make for food and supplements.5. And finally because my job is centred around graphic design for packages, I have to say that I like the presentation that you have on the label. All good experiences so far. I feel more energised which is good, but, and this applies to all supplements in that how do you measure how it it working. It’s not like you had a headache, took a painkiller, and the headache was gone.I would love to be able to read about actual studies that have been done to more directly show the benefits of the product, but I will still keep using it

Usually good but last batch was horrible
I have been using this product for over a year with good benefits. It has kept me from getting frequent chest infections, improved my sleep and helped boot my energy levels. I had is on subscription. In the almost 2 year time, it arrived more than a month before I needed it, so it was out or the return window. However, when I opened the bottle, it have a horrible smell and made me nauseated. Since it came over 30 days ago, I could not return it and had to throw it in trash. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE to such products. Pay the extra 10-12 cents per month and do a monthly order.
