Sweet Potato Pasta Fettuccine | Paleo | Grain Free | Gluten Free | AIP | (Pack of 2 x 8oz)

I got these for my husband since he had a blood test done to see what foods his body reacted to in a negative way. Turns out he needed to be gluten free, egg free, rice free, and almond free among many other things. This made it difficult to find a pasta alternative.When I saw this online I figured why not give it a try since we both love sweet potato. However, the texture and taste did not bode well for us. It was grainy and very mushy. Didn't hold it's form well once cooked. Not sure if I over cooked it or not (even though I followed the instructions to the T) but it was not good.I am all for eating things that don't exactly taste amazing as long as it's healthy but not even I could get past the gooey, grainy texture. The flavor was sharp and with a bit of a bite which overpowered the pasta sauce (that didn't help and was an add on to an already less than satisfactory texture).I really wanted to like it, I did. It just want in the cards :(

Great taste! They are a little gummy, but that is inherent to cassava flour. They are great for things like stir fries and drunken noodles, the texture seems to work very well in those types of dishes.

I Love Sweet Potatoes but No, Not good in Pasta form. Pricey too, but I took a chance.

Cooked a few times and came out sticky and gummy, despite short cook times and rinsing of starch coating. Perhaps the Casava caused the gumminess and odd texture. Preferred a different sweet potato noodle, ‘sweet potato cellophane noodles.’

WOW is all I have to say! This pasta is amazing! Flavor and texture is out of this world. My son loved it and he is a picky eater❤️❤️ It’s a healthy alternative! I totally recommend to give this pasta a try, I will be ordering all different types! Great product! ❤️

It didn’t cook so much as it just melted into the water. It turned into a sticky lump of goo. I’m mad, too, because I wasted good pesto on it. Next time I’ll check the reviews more carefully.

I have autoimmune disorders and it has been really hard to find a pasta that is gluten free and falls in to my strict diet, let alone a tasty one. This pasta is beyond amazing. My whole family loved it. Definitely will be ordering more.

I was so excited to try this pasta. It comes with detailed instructions & suggestions. I followed the directions exactly, and the pasta came out very gummy, sticky and very unappetizing. I also tried the tricks the package suggested for fixing that problem, nothing worked. I ended up throwing the batch away. So I won't be buying this again.
