When I was looking for a ceiling fan, the name Hunter seemed to stand out as the brand to check out. They did not disappoint. I followed the instructions carefully and it all went together without too much fuss. A couple of install things I should point out ...The screws supplied to fix it to the ceiling are cross head and I managed to damage one because the screws were so long and the rafters are very tough. I did not have a drill long enough to make a pilot hole of the full length and the screw gave up about 3mm from fully tight and I had to remove it and find a replacement.Apart from that, when I first connected it, the lights did not come on. The wiring instructions do not make it clear that the lights and the fan are on separate circuits and you need to bridge them to operate both from one switch.But now it's installed, it works a treat. I have tried it on all 3 speeds, but found that the lowest speed is really all that's needed. It makes a slight hum on high speed, but nothing that would keep you awake.One final point to note (I knew) ... you cannot use a dimmer unless you use separate switches for the fan and the lights. Also, it's not easy to get incandescent bulbs now, so you'll need dimmable LED's if you want to set it up this way.

This is a great fan. Pull chains plus wall switch are much better than a tacky remote.

The media could not be loaded. Es passen gerade so 2 Philips Hue e27 Lampen rein. Man muss etwas würgen aber es geht. Und ich konnte einen smarten Unterputzschalter in die Deckenhalterung integrieren. Die Hue haben jetzt Dauerstrom und werden mit einem Hue Wandschalter gesteuert der gleichzeitig auch den Unterputzschalter betätigen kann wenn gewollt und damit den Ventilator auf der voreingestellten Stufe anstellen. Geiler wäre natürlich direkt einen smarten HomeKit kompatiblen Deckenventilator zu bekommen. Ich wüsste nur nicht von welchem Hersteller. Außerdem habe ich damit auch keine weitere Zentrale sondern bleibe bei der Hue.Die Qualität des Ventilators selbst ist gut. Hunter selbst hat aber auch noch deutlich hochwertigere im Programm. Leider dann aber mit Fernbedienung und damit ohne die Möglichkeit ihn wirklich smart zu machen. Geräusche sind auf kleinster Stufe wirklich sehr wenige (eigentlich nur der Luftzug). Der ist wiederum für uns absolut ausreichend auf kleinster Stufe. Für mich als sehr sensibler Schläfer wirklich schlafzimmertauglich.Im Vergleich zu anderen Hunter Ventilatoren auch noch mal ein paar Centimeter flacher.Ich bin zufrieden - der Sommer kann kommen.Einziges Manko: Installation ist etwas Fummelei (auch ohne Smart). Und man hätte mir gern eine noch langsamere Stufe geben können.

bei dem an die Decke angebrachten Ventilator geht das Licht nicht. Außerdem ist bei mir das Motorbrummen sehr Laut, auch auf niedrigster Stufe. Ich habe mehrfache Supportanfragen sowohl auf Amazon, als auch auf der offiziellen Hunter Website getätigt und auch nach Wochen noch keine Antwort erhalten
