Is this for really really tiny people?
Are you tiny? Do you have tiny little hands? Little fingers? Are you making a pinky finger warmer? Then this is for you!It comes in tiny little balls, and ultra thin thread.I suppose, somewhere in the description is hidden a code for "tiny", but I don't see it.Maybe they should have a picture like mine in the description so we know before wasting money that this whole thing is, well, tiny....

Itchy & full of guard hairs
I am so very very disappointed and I absolutely cannot recommend this weight. It is extremely itchy and so full of guard hairs that, as you can see in the photos, falls out onto my pants. All of the skeins are like this. Buyer beware.I purchased this brand because I previously bought and very much enjoyed knitting with their dk weight and thought I would have the same experience. I purchased one pack of black and one pack of gray, combined 1 gray & 1 black skein of fingering weight to created a marled hat for my nephew (who shaves his head and I wanted something extra soft) and now I don't even know if I can give it to him.$50 is a lot to flush down the toilet because this is SO itchy against my arm, I simply cannot imagine how bad it would be on someone's (bald) head, it's worse than some of the cheapest wool I've ever used. I guess I'll attempt to shave it or something before I give up and turn it into something for my sister's dog?

Yarn thickness varies
Buyers should know that this grey yarn is SUPER thin as compared so say the Ivory color. It is like thread so be advised it's probably only good for adding a bit of color to a project. So while the the skeins of grey and ivory weigh the same, I ran out of ivory before I ran out of grey as I was crocheting with two skeins at once. They weigh the same simply because there is more grey than Ivory. I thought they were the same thickness and counted on that using dual yarns to have a more plush product, sadly it's not very plush now.

The Best Alpaca Yarn Out There
Being a yarn snob I am excited to have found this 100% alpaca yarn. I got a really great deal.

Not lace weight
I am using Madeline Tosh and Aerial lace weights for shawls. This is about 3 or 4 times thicker than my lace weights. On a #6 needle as specified in my pattern this results in slinky not light and airy. I was afraid that would be the case, but I was in a tight spot and couldn't spend two hours running to the nearest yarn store to get more aerial. For another project it would be great, it is very light and soft. Just not lace weight.

Wonderful yarn, weight is incorrect
I bought the soft grey in worsted weight. The color is beautiful and the yarn has a very luxe feel. It knitted up beautifully. My only criticism is the weight is incorrect. The worsted weight was DK so be prepared to adjust your pattern.

Very small!
I bought this as a gift. This is not at all what I expected. I was going to give it only one star, but in fairness, I'm not a knitter, so maybe this size is normal. It just seems really tiny for a skein, compared to what I've seen in stores. I'm honestly embarrassed to give this as a gift.
