This is a very easy (and cheap) upgrade to make your car stand out. The install couldn't be any simpler---just use a very small flat head screw driver and insert it closest to the door hinge side of the light and pull back towards you. The light will pop out---from there it is plug and play. These new lights were a very snug fit. What I liked was that they were a bright white light. I had recently upgraded to bright white LED's and was afraid this would be a warm glow---not the case.The Toyota logo shines brightly at night and doesn't get cut off at all. I will updated review if issues occur.

I purchased these ( a pair) and one of the courtesy lights was defective ( the inside port that goes into my car plug port was not positioned correctly and was unable to plug right in. ) I contacted customer service and they sent out another pair. The new pair was also defective ( same issue as the previous), so what I did was kept the first good one and the second shipped good one and returned the two defective ones. It seems as if every pair one of the light ports is defective. So be careful about this issue.Other than that, the lights are beautiful, very bright and sufficient. And does make your car look nice.

Pros:It's cool.It looks pretty good (at night).It's a cheap modification.It's easy to install (see the con though...).Cons:Poor fit. The OEM lights are snug, where these have some play.Poor quality control. I bought two sets (4 doors) and the first set worked perfectly. The second set required me to do some shade tree surgery to get the prongs to match up with the connector.Not visible during the day (but I didn't expect them to be).A small portion of the projected logo gets cut off by the door geometry. Not a big deal, but putting it here for those for whom it will matter.

I installed these on my 2017 Camry. Then I changed the Toyota logo with a Transformers logo. It is easy to do as long as the picture or film is the same size. I used a "Lupar 5w 4th Generation 2x LED Car Door Laser Projector Ghost Shadow Step Light Logo". The cartridge does not fit, but you can remove the film and replace it in the Toyota light.These have LED's pointing forward to light your way, as well as the light inside the projector for the logo.

My dad was able to take out the first light by hand but had to use a small blade to pry out the second. Each took seconds to take out and the same time to plug in and fit back these new ones. The whole process took less than five minutes!The Toyota logo looks really attractive in the dark. The light projected is strong and bright, and the image is clearly seen on the ground (most cameras make the image look blurry because they're taken in the dark at night but it is clearer in reality). The image seen is whole - no part of the Prius Hybrid 2013 door obstructs the projection of the logo.For the price I paid, this is truly an affordable method to enhance the look of my car. If you are considering getting this, and you know it'll fit, go for it.

These are so cool. The projection of the Toyota logo and wording are so bright and clear. Installation onto my 2017 Toyota Camry was a snap and I did not have to make any adjustments. Something to note is my only concern was that my passengers would not have an actual courtesy light when the door was opened. Apparently there are two LEDs, one on each side of the projector, that produce just enough light to illuminate the ground but not interfere with the projection. You can see this in the image I attached as I lights up the door sill.

Updated review.....was originally thrilled by these lights.They have however failed after less than a year ... just like just about any other cheap Chinese made gimmick. Colors have all smeared and now I have to reinstall the original lights. The only thing positive I now have to say about this item is glad it's easy to rip back out and I'm so glad I hung onto the original lights.Original 5 star review.....Easiest install on my 2012 Prius V. Pure novelty value but totally satisfied my childish urge

Great seller! Not so good product. I contacted the seller because the driver side looked washed out. He sent me another set but it’s the same issue.

これはすごくお気に入りです。はっきりと浮かび上がるし　取替も簡単でした。何を言うと　取替手順書みたいなものがあれば親切かな？
