Betta Fish loves it
At first my betta "Romeo" didn't like it. I removed it for a day and put it back now he swims and hides in it all day. It's I did file down some of the edges I thought was too sharp. I didn't want his fins to tear. It's easy to clean. I rinse in hot water and wipe down with a rag afterwards.

Cutest little ship
The little shipwreck is really cute. I did have to sand down the rough and sharp edges, but that's OK

Absolutely not!
So, I wouldn't label something fish tank safe or market something for fish tanks if it will actually poison a tank and kill everything in there. I know, you're gonna say "Oh, you should have boiled it first." I'm sorry, but no. That's actually insane. When selling or advertising something as FOR a fish tank. It shouldn't MURDER the tank merely because one step was skipped. I mean, yeah lesson learned. I boiled it, but maybe if the seller is gonna skip such an ESSENTIAL step it shouldn't be sold as for aquariums. Also on another note. The other reviews complained about it being sharp. It actually is sharp enough to draw blood on the inside of the ship. (I thought they meant the outside but it's actually the inside where the delicate little fish would be hiding that's also, lethal.)TLDR: Don't buy it, just don't. It's not for fish.

Smaller than what it looks like
If your fish are 2 inches or larger it will not be off much use.

Cute...what you see is what you get
Nice cute little sunken ship fish seem to enjoy hiding out in it.

This is a “small” decoration- not for medium to large fish
It is a sturdy small addition to the tank
