PENGUIN Town Mouse and Country Mouse - Read it yourself with Ladybird: Level 2

An old children's story - but new to me. Bought for my 4 yo grandson and he really enjoyed the story and the excellent pictures in the book. The book is an 'updated' Ladybird-style and looks and reads very well. The book encouraged us to take-in a local drama presentation of the story and this was enjoyed by all.If you're unfamiliar with the "Town Mouse & Country Mouse" story do read it; and this Ladybird edition is very attractively produced. Whether you are are a 'Town' or 'Country' person you and your [grand] children will enjoy enormously.The book and the story may even help youngsters in their first steps to further reading adventures.

good for kids who just started reading. becoz of less no. of lines n bright pics it attracts kids attention. so overall happy

It serves the purpose of helping beginning level reading among 5-6 year olds

A nice short story which kids will love and extremely interesting and well thought through graphics to show the difference between town and country life
