First the bad: the first pair arrived with the left earpiece not producing any sound. Now the good: #1, after reporting the problem I had a new pair in my hands within 4 days, excellent service; #2, the new pair work perfectly; #3, when outdoors I get good reception on the FM band despite the fact that I'm out in the country with a lot of hills surrounding my house (phone reception is iffy); #4, simple operation, once you've used the headphones a couple of times, your hand knows where to go for each function controller; #5, love the fact that I can attach my own MP3 player so I can listen to my own music, included 4' cable is long enough that I can keep my MP3 player secure in my pants pocket; #6, and finally, the headphones keep the noise from my mower at bay while I listen to my choice of music. Highly Recommended.

I bought these to use with rechargeable batteries because nobody would be so irresponsible as to waste single use batteries these days. Unfortunately, as the voltage declined the headphones would not turn on reliably, they would just flash 88888 for a minute to an hour before turning on, making them very incapable of adequately discharging the batteries. But since rechargeable batteries stop working if you can't completely discharge them, it would ruin the batteries. To make it worse, these are the only earphones out there that use three AAA batteries instead of two AA batteries, so I had to buy new batteries and a new charger. To make it more irritating, the charger only charges in pairs so I always had extra batteries in limbo.But all that is a thing of the past since one of the wires to the headphone disconnected so I only hear it in one ear now. So now it's sitting on a shelf as are a pile of AAA batteries and a new battery charger.DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I bought the Dewalt version of these 3 years ago but somehow misplaced them.I thought, for 30 bucks I'll just order another pair. Holy Crap! They doubled in price.I know I will eventually find the other ones so I ordered this cheaper one till then.Great surprise. They were much more comfortable than the other set and literally as I was putting them on, my son was talking to me and they completely shut off the sound when I got them on. He laughed at me thinking I was kidding so he put them on and now he wants a set too.I saw some reviews about bad reception and I live about 50 miles from any stations so I was worried. No issues finding stations and they come in very clear.I do have a giant 200 foot long, 60 foot high freezer directly across the street from me so I have one small area that I get static but that's with any radio so, no surprise there.For the price this is really a great deal. I had to walk up to the store which is about a mile so I put them on for the walk. They were perfect all the way.I am very happy with this purchase.

Semi Hi Fi comfortable convenient. Would buy again. The 3M sounds a little better, however or the 39.95 this was a good choice . they seem durable, sound is less beefy that the 69.00 competitor but still ok or even very good.

I HAVE HAD 2 PAIR FIRST PAIR DIDNT WORK OUT THE BOX THE SECOND PAIR HAS NOW STOPPED WORKING IT JUST BLINKS AND THAT IS IT.. THEY ARE POORLY MADE AND SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF OF AMAZON.

Great value for the money. Works very well. Picks up am/fm and good quality.

Bought the head phone so I could listen to music as I mowed yards.Absolutely unable to hear the music it was so muffled an very hard to even get a station to come in.Very poor quality if you walked only not sure you could hear music.Just went an bought a head set like I had before an all is good.

Bought this radio to use when doing yard work, to protect my hearing and listen to some tunes. The head set fits snug, and it has been comfortable enough to use on a warm day for several hours. As to the radio function, mine is just like old AM/FM radios I remember when I was a kid, to long ago, the Volume / on knob has some kind of a bad connection, so when I set the volume, and walk around, it crackles and looses volume. If I move the knob some, it gets better for a while, then gets quiet or fades in and out, until I mess with the knob again. It's bothersome, but still works okay I guess for doing yard work. I don't change stations much, so the buttons on the side really only get used if I take the headset off.As to hearing protection, it works well, knocking out most of the mower noise to a dull hum, and if I turn the volume up a bit on the radio, it knocks almost all the mower or weed trimmer noise out. Speaking of volume, the sound this produces is by no means high fidelity, it's just mid range radio, not much base, or treble, just middle of the road radio sound, so don't think it's going to be great if you are some audiophile.🙂All in, I wish the volume knob was better, but for my yard work needs, it works okay.
