MSDStreet Fire 55128 Ignition Coils - Black - 8-Pack

First off packaging was very good. Was shipped fast and correct for application. Instructions were clear and concise. Installed with new plugs and all is good so far. How they will hold up is yet to be known but quality based on looks alone of the coils seems to be very good. Cured the misfire and truck runs as it should now. Went with the MSD name and paid more for it because I didn't trust what I would get from some others at much lower prices. However, these are made in China also but I'm hoping the MSD quality control will be superior to the cheapo stuff. Time will tell I guess. Still way cheaper than Motorcraft that unless you are very careful, may or may not be counterfeit anyway.

Items worked great. One could had to be moved from one cylinder to another due to a missfire. Very good though.

These are totally worth it. We tried to cheap out before and get that $50+/- set that is on here and they did work. Well, at least they worked better than the dead coils we had before. But there was still always a slight misfire issue. Eventually we had enough of it and spent the few extra bucks and got these. Night and Day difference. Visually, you can see these produce a much more intense spark. Installed, the idle is smoother, and the power seems to come on better. Prior to these, my truck would have a little "pop" or as my girlfriend called it "a bubble" in the idle, and it just felt a little tired when accelerating. These coils gave it a much better feel and smoothed things out. In my book, totally worth it.

Had to replace sum of them within 3 months on my truck. Will not buy again.

Only reason for the first 2 stars is right out of the box one was broken and I had to warranty them like they were returned already !Otherwise got another set and there doing great !

So far so good! I'll try to remember to update if any issues arise. I did notice a slight power gain and mile gas milage went up 3 or 4 MPG.

Idk how it will do over time but for now I had my mechanic install them and they work just fine

These coil are amazing I have alot of other upgrades and these really tie it in with my bama tune

I Purchased them for 2008 F150 4.6 l . Easy install, nice direct replacement of the original coil packs. Truck fired right up after install and the motor runs as good as new.

Car runs much better now, better fuel economy too. Crown Vic 2003 CVPI

Installed easy, seems so far to be a good product.
