Very small, but big enough for a doll house

Works well but you do have to press down hard from left to right (or vice versa) across the complete cutter until it's completely flat to engage the hole cutters for a nice clean 6-hole punch through your paper. I'm using 110g paper, so it's not exactly thin paper and it would likely be much easier with thinner paper stock.I like this item very much. However, I'm sure the plastic cutter parts will wear with use after a time, therefore I'm not certain how long I can expect this item to last. So far so good and I'm very happy with the nice clean cuts I'm achieving. I've used this punch a fair bit since I received it and it's still giving consistently clean cuts.I have read that some people are experiencing two ghost marks in their punched paper. I did also until I realized the ghosting was due to lining the paper incorrectly. I was placing the paper over 'two raised lines' and right up to the edge of the punch. However, the two raised lines are actually marker lines designed for lining your paper against to give the correct distance for your punched holes. If you lay your paper across these two raised markers, not only will you not punch your holes the correct distance from the edge of the paper, but you will have 'two unsightly indents' (ghosting) in your punched paper as well. Once I realised this, I had no more problems with ghosting and the holes were punched at the correct distance from the edge of the paper as well (result).I would recommend this item. It's much better than a metal punch I bought recently to do the job costing twice the price which I am returning because is far too difficult and frustrating to use. This is a much better and far easier to use punch.

After nearly skipping past this product because of a 3 star average, I am glad I did not. A few reviews mentioned that it was only good for 1 sheet of paper and that is probably correct but I only got this product to use very occasionally and having tried it with my A5 Filofax (6 hole) it works perfectly, highly recommend this product for those who only need to do one or two sheets every now and again.

I rarely leave poor reviews so when I do you know it must be bad. Whilst this item is well made and sturdy, it simply does not do what it should. Firstly, it just about manages one sheet of paper but leaves the punched out paper in the holes and you have to apply a serious amount of pressure to get it to do that. I feel I have wasted my money on this. I would not recommend this nor would I buy another. I would suggest investing in ready punch printer paper instead.

I recently got a Filofax for my birthday and wanted to personalise it as I used it, making dividers etc, so I found myself needing a hold punch for it as it was just too difficult to try and do without a special one to fit my planner. I couldn't find many other options than this one and as it was the cheapest I thought I'd give it a go.It's great for punching normal printer paper and slightly thicker paper, however with my thicker card material it does struggle. I find myself having to hit on the top of it with a glass so that it gets extra pressure to push through it.This isn't too much of a problem for me as once the dividers were made then I didn't have to use the thicker materials again and wont until I decide to change them to a different design.

Being Filofax i expected much better. The all plastic product struggled to punch through one sheet of paper. Basically, you have to press really hard to force the holes to be cut. The hole cutouts were not perfect and some pieces still party attached. A pair of ghost indents are left in the paper. Trying to punch holes through two pieces of paper was very difficult. Returned the product for a refund after only 10 minutes. What a disappointment.
