Malibu Girl Lipstick with Aloe Vera & Vitamin E - Black #40

this is a good black lipstick, and goes on smooth, stays in place, doesn't smear... however, to if you want the black look that is a very dark black, you will need to apply quit a few coats, but for a nice black look, that is more of a lighter black, (not the goth black, like black on white look), then this is for you, I really like the look this gives me, and with a few coats, you could achieve the dark dark black look, but with just one or two, you can get a nice, non goth looking black lipstick, and it looks really good, even though I was afraid of it at first, I saw it on a model on tv, and wanted to try it, I figured I could lighten it by wiping it off or using gloss, but that is not needed with this one, which is why I really like it!, but don't be scared to try this out, it actually looks really good. and for those of you that like wearing the dark black, then like I said, this is a smooth, fuss free lipstick, so it is great for you all as well!the only reason for the 4 stars is not for me, cus I give it 5 starts for my usage, but because I know that most of the people searching for black lipstick wants something really dark black without putting on the extra coat/s, so I gave it 4 stars just for that, so that everyone could read and judge for themselves if this is the one that is best for them... I love it though and I recommend this one, above the few others I tried, this is my fav!

While the texture and feel of the lipstick is nice, it isn't really black or opaque at all. I put on quite a few coats, but it just looked like I had smeared gray lip gloss on. The pink of my lips was extremely noticeable. I would recommend for casual wear (it looks really nice on bright red lipstick!), but this is not the ideal choice if you need black lips for a cosplay. I ordered this and another black lipstick for a Homestuck cosplay, and will be using the other brand for the costume. I will be keeping this though, as it IS a very nice and moisturizing lipstick.

It's an okay item. It's good for a top coat if you have another black lipstick, or using a different substitute. Otherwise, it was going on well for me. I don't know if it was because my lips may have been wet, or it doesn't like the texture of my lips. Be careful with this one. It's pretty greasy as well. If you're looking for something quick for a cosplay I'd go with this as long as you have something else to put under it.

Has a nice color to it, but comes off rather quick. Didn't expect too much for such a cheap item.

i bought this item cause i wanted black lipstick i got it a day earliy yes that nice but when i tried it one it wasn't fully black it just fades ur lips darker its not a fully block cover over ur lips just warning all of the buyers

This product was supposed to be shipped from the 21-26 but it came a day earlier! Not only was it shipped on the 20th but I really love the product.I am planning on using it for a cosplay in the near future for a Homestuck character. It isn't as dark as I expected it to be but if you put on a few more coats it will darken and look natural.I love it and I'm so glad I purchased it!

This deserves less than a 1 star to be honest. When you go to apply it, there is nothing but a very thin black film. its like a gray lip gloss. I call it that because it very sheer and barely has any pigment at all. This is trash. I believe Lime Crime has a black lip stick. I would try them. Beware they are more expensive.

mine came broken. The whole thing was just... shattered. What i did manage to get on my lips was not very black. For those who want better lipstick, hot topic carries great choices.
