Finnish Fighter Colours 1939-1945. Volume 2 (White Series)

After buying the the first volume, which really fascinated me, I decided to buy the second one. Both volumes are really OUTSTANDING and a GREAT source of reference if you like to paint your plastic models with Finnish colors. I do, so this is a MUST. You will find many details and color schemes. The historical references are also fantastic and ALL the aircraft of each type are listed with their c/n, serial and final fate. If you like the Suomen Ilmavoimat history, this book and also the other volumes must be in your library.

The book was filled with large full color pictures showing the subtle differences among the hard pressed Finish fighter pilots. I will be buying the whole series.

If you want to complete the two book series you must have this volume #2. It covers the fighters not shown in volume #1. Excellent writing and great photos are included.

Excellent follow on to Volume One - overall five stars.

Good coverage of subject

The second installment of Stenman's series on fighter colors continues to explore the camouflage used on a variety of fighter aircraft used by the Finns during their Winter and Continuation wars with the USSR, from the famous to the truly obscure. This series is perfect for modelers interested in reproducing wartime Finnish aircraft. I especially enjoy the pairing of wartime photos (including a few color shots) with full-color artwork. Outstanding!

I have a large number of these titles and none have disappointed; this has been an eye opener for obtaining so many operators & schemes in the one place at a very reasonable price. Love it to bits.

A welcome edition to the other volumes in the series, particularly because the coverage is of bomber types. Impeccable research and well illustrated.

Excellent series covering Airforces of WW Lloyd in colour. Essential for model makers.
