It's long and worked well. Price was reasonable without crazy claims of golden fins.. 😂 Could not check the network function over hdmi as I don't have support equipment.

I got the 15ft cable without the redmere chip. When I plugged it in between my laptop and my receiver, the link is detected - I can see the HDMI sign on the receiver display panel and I can see the receiver's properties in the NVIDIA control panel. But the laptop is unable to use the HDMI connection as audio output. A shorter cable I had which is 3ft works fine.I don't know what the issue is, the cable is suspect as of now. I am still giving it 2 stars because the build quality looks nice and the problem may be somewhere else. Will definitely revisit the rating later, if it does work out.Edit: It did work in the end. My laptop just needed a reboot!

Works well on my MacBook HDMI and connected to my HP Monitor... Recommended cheaper priced but works great, this is what we need.
