Great coat..Purposely wanted a 3 in 1 coat, as our lovely British weather can't seem to make up it's mind atm.. So all these different layers gives u options that won't cook, or freeze ur child..😋You put ur child in a winter coat, come afternoon the sun's out and it's boiling..Or u go to the other extreme, where u don't put on enough layers, and they freeze..This coat is ideal..You have a fleece jumper which has all the zip up for coat attachments on it, even at the sleeves, u have a loop so they attach to popper fasteners at the end of both sleeves, helping them stay put as ur child puts their arms in and out.. the fleeces sleeves are also elasticated at hands, which is nice, as will stop draughts going up to arms etc..Ideal for wearing atm whilst we have the bitey weather, but the sun's out making the day warm, and hot..The coat altogether is nice, strong durable, will be great for the cold, snowy weather. Lots of layers to keep child cosy, and warm..Waterproof is always gonna be great, especially when living in good ole' rainy Britain..😋Machine washable, which always helps with a Toddler/Child coat..Hood is attached with poppers, so dont have to have, on coat...My reason for 4 stars and not 5...Like alot of the reviews say, get the next size up..Glad i did, as my toddlers actual size would not have fitted, and if this coats going to get LO. through winter..Although I will say, I always go 1 size up anyways, to allow for growth etc...

Very good quality jacket, the inner fleece is nice and light and is good enough to be used on its own. Only slight issue was I bought a size 9/10 for my 8yr old daughter who is tall, the jacket deceptively looked small but still fitted her, though she probably not get as much wear out of it as expected, I would definitely recommend getting the next size up from what you think you need.

Bought this to replace the same jacket purchased a couple of years ago, which had been exactly what we needed it to be. The coat is lovely, warm and nicely made but it was tiny! I ordered the size bigger than the one I already had and it was much smaller :-/ Not sure if ours was mis-labelled, but it had to go back. My daughter is a tall 6, the old jacket was 7-8 and this one 9-10 but I could barely get it fastened! Great if your child is very slender, otherwise go up a couple of sizes. The 3 stars are for the sizing only, not the quality of the jacket.

Looks like it would do the job,however the coat was small to look at and when taken to a mountain hardware store was found to be wrongly sized .The store manager put this right and all being well I don't expect any issues.The coat arrived on time and looks to be of good quality,would recommend despite the sizing issue.

Sizing completely out! The arms are super long and the body of it is tiny! I bought a size 9-10 and its smaller than the regatta age 7-8 coat we wanted to replace . So annoying!

Great everyday waterproof jacket with detachable fleece and hood. I agree with other reviews buy the next ages up from your child’s actual age otherwise it may be too tight as it does come up small. This fits just right with a bit of room to grow. And it was cheaper than buying directly from Mountain Warehouse which was full price!

I bought this coat for my little grandaughter and was very pleased with it. It is practical, pretty, warm and a neat fit. The coat has a little pink fleece inside which can be removed, or worn on it's own, depending on the weather. Very pleased indeed - would highly recommend.

Really great wee coat although she looks sp grown up in it!! Very smart, muddy forest walk in the rain approved! Runs small, got a 9 to 10 for my 7 year old and it fits perfectly but I dont think she'll get past this winter.
