I would definitely recommend
we absolutely love this book anyone got a little girl and expecting I would definitely recommend this book it normalises brestfeeding, it explains why mum and dad are at the hospital that princess Polly will be staying with her grandma overall think it's a really good book I read it with my little girl and and I explained that she will be staying with family members why Mummy and Daddy goes to the hospital to have baby Jones. I also love the facts that you dont know the babies sex in the book. For someone who isn't finding out the sex of the baby this really appeal to me. also the noise button is pretty cute but but if people find it annoying you can turn it off at the back but personally I loved it

Sweet book and the best of its kind
This is the best book of its kind that I could find. Suited if you have a toddler daughter and any gender for your second child, as it is unisex / gender neutral as regards the new brother/sister (as it only refers to "the baby"). It's cute and quirky and covers all you need - a little bit before the birth and then the rest after the birth. Also one of the few books that includes a breastfeeding mother, but it is in a nice, subtle, brief way. Recommend.

Fab little book
Fab little book illustrating mum getting bag packed and going to hospital to have baby, Polly staying with grandma for a few days before baby comes home, as well as demonstrating baby having a feed, bath, getting dressed and crying. My nearly 3 yo connected with it well and was then asking question or adding comments about waiting for her baby sister to come. Baby not due for a few weeks but definitely think we brought at right time when I too am packing hospital bag and getting ready for arrival.

Great to prepare a toddler/preschool girl about to become a big sister BEFORE the birth.
We purchased this as part of a 'big sister' present arranged for our 3 year old daughter on the birth of our second child, and it has gone down a storm partly because of the 'big sister' aspect and recognising new and changing things about our family life, but also because it makes a noise!!This is great if you are intending to breastfeed as it normalises breastfeeding without making it obvious or a song and dance about the decision which is how it should be.I do however think we might have given this to our daughter a little late, thank goodness we had bought a few other big sister/sibling books prior to this (it arrived the day before my delivery) as it spends a decent amount of time talking about mummy's tummy, packing for hospital and staying with grandparents before you get to the baby coming home bit. This is different to some other big sibling books which jump off with the baby already home and I wish I'd known this in advance as I would have switched a different book to the birth-day bag instead of this one.Overall, this is an excellent book for a toddler/preschooler girl about to become a big sister, in retrospect I would introduce this some point from 32 weeks onwards so it prepares for changes and sets expectations of what may happen when the baby is born and comes home rather than as a gift after the birth.

Beautiful book
I brought this book as my friend did not want to know the gender of her new baby and this book was gender neutral. Brought for a friend who was expecting her second child. My friend reported that this book was excellent it helped her daughter prepare for the new arrival and made her look forward to having a new baby around. Since baby’s arrival there has been very little sibling rivalry whether this is down to the book or her daughters nature is unknown but I feel it has helped.
