NLT Inspire Bible Large Print (LeatherLike, Multicolor)

I love this Bible. Am reading through the Bible again and wanted a different version. Got this one for bigger print. The print is huge, but also love the space for notes and pictures. I colour the pictures once I have read the passage. Great tool for meditation. Only down is the size and weight. It is definitely a Bible for home only because of this. Wish there was one halfway between usual size and this then it would be a 5*

Hands down out of all the various bibles I have this is the best! It's a large size but not overly heavy. The designs to colour are fabulous and plenty of space to write notes. Well worth the money.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Beautiful soft cover, large print/pages and plenty of space to color or write notes. The pages are thicker than your average bible, but I still wouldn’t use markers as a personal preference. 100% recommend! I never leave reviews and I just had to for this Bible.

This a beautiful Bible, no question. It has a very pretty cover. I don’t journal, but I bought it for the NLT version, the larger print, and the side margins for writing notes, not for the coloring pages, although that could be a bonus if and when I want to do that.Keep in mind when considering this Bible, it is very large. I unfortunately did not look at the measurements before I ordered it and there wasn’t a picture that showed it in size comparison to your body like I saw with other Bibles on Amazon. This is not one you would probably want to take with you to church, Bible Studies, etc. For those of you who remember phone books, it’s about that size. It does stay open easily which is great and it is very readable with the larger print, although I think I would have done okay with a bit smaller. I just didn’t want a Bible with a tiny font size. I’m sure I’ll appreciate it the older and older I get!I really debated about keeping it or not, and ordered the original Inspire Bible to compare, but finally decided to stick with this one to use at home and take another Bible or utilize the Bible app on my phone when going out. This morning, however while reading and after highlighting a passage, it finally occurred to me that the words of Jesus are not printed in Red Letter. I’m shocked I hadn’t noticed that before and never realized that this in general was such a big deal to me until it’s not there. Looking at the original Inspire Bible I see it is the same; the publishers just apparently don’t make them this way. Now I am kind of sad that I used a highlighter and am unable to return it, because I think that may have been the deal breaker for me. I really want the words of Jesus to stand out! (I guess I’m just going to have to do a lot more highlighting instead!)What’s most important, though is just to read and study The Word of God no matter what! If these things I’ve mentioned are not an issue for you, then I would say this may be just the Bible you will want to get! This is worth repeating - it is beautiful!

I wish that Jesus' words were printed in red ink. It is pretty large also but I like it.
