Another opportunity to work a puzzle outside of my normal image choices. Deep discounts have that effect on me.Looking to fill in a little before heading back to some hair-pulling puzzles, I picked up this little ditty a while back and decided now was the time to work it. Though I don't like paintings in general, this one has a nice colorful scene with good areas of contrast. That's a nice recipe for a reasonably easy puzzle.The details: - Buffalo Games puzzle. Usual good quality and excellent reproduction values. - Snug fitting pieces. Work a section and move it to where you want. - Poster! Save those eyes! Don't squint, use the full-size poster. - Surprisingly, a lot more puzzle dust this time. Normally, Buffalo puzzles are the best at limiting this issue.The "how I did it" section:For this puzzle, I went chairs and boat. Red, so it was easy to pick out. Plus, I ended up with a lot of house pieces, too. But, I next moved to the ground beneath the chairs and then the house. Next the white trees and finally water and sky.It's a reasonably quick solve because of all the different colors. And, it's a pleasant picture, so it's a good add to a puzzler's collection.
